Excellent. Horace Silvers Combo is so smooth. In the description, no mention to the bass player and drummer. I believe the bassist is John Williams and the drummer is Billy Cobham.
Ah yes- one of my favorite bassists- Mr. John B. Williams! He later played with Cannonball & Nat's group which then led to his long stint holding down the bass chair in the great Nancy Wilson's trio. Millions of viewers in the States would then see him nightly on the late 80s/early 90s as the bassist on the Arsenio Hall Show. Playing it forward.... Cannonball pulled Capitol Records coat to a young Nancy Wilson. Years later, Nancy would bring a young Ohio native standup comic Arsenio Hall to Hollywood in the late 70s. By the end of the 80s, Hall would get her road pianist & bassist- Michael Wolff & John B. Williams to join his tv show house band.
