I’ve watched so many cleaning videos sooo many over the last 20 years. And since I’ve always worked since my girls we born. And this is the only one I think I will be able to do. And I love your grace. It’s a breath of fresh air

Hey, glad to see someone else who has micro and dusting once a month. I feel like doing it more frequently means I'm wasting time wiping away nothing.

This is the first time I’ve watched your channel. I found you when you replied to a.comment I made on another channel. So far I like your video and will definitely watch more. I love your idea of dusting once a month. That is doable for me.

Hi Kassy! Thank you so much for your videos. They have really helped me as a new working mom. I love how simple you made the weekly cleaning schedule. When do you usually fit in the monthly and annual chores in your schedule? Thank you!

Hi Susan! You're very welcome! I fit in my monthly and annual chores on Sundays when we are home, but it would work on any day when you have a little extra time.

Love this video! It's been very helpful. Love the advice to keep it simple and give yourself lots of grace to do it your own way!
I'm wondering, though: when do you do all your monthly, seasonal and annual chores? Squeeze them in in your downtime, or do you schedule them in in monthly or weekly reviews? I dont think I could do it without it scheduled in.
    Thanks for sharing!

So glad the video was helpful!
I personally do the monthly/seasonal/annual chores when I have a free Sunday (which happens for me fairly frequently when my husband takes the older kids skiing.) It is a good idea to schedule it in though if you don't have a regular time that works for you to do it!

Hi! I love this so far I just found you I just have some questions! Where do you fit in cleaning bedrooms, washing bedding and those sorts of things? Thank you so much! I want to buy the printable but don’t understand how the bedrooms and such would work?

      Also mopping, etc?

Hey! Thanks for your comment! Tidying up bedrooms is the kids' chore (the kids are responsible for keeping their own rooms clean, my husband and I keep our things picked up). I will say it is easier to keep everyone's things put away when the house is completely decluttered. So we have a manageable amount of things that they can keep up with. They are also generally in the habit of (or at least we are trying to teach them to do this) putting things away when they are done... so they room typically doesn't get overly dirty. I put cleaning their bedrooms into their chore checklist (aka their Morning and Evening Routines). Here is the original video with their original routines: ruclips.net/video/tr_1EQkCY3c/видео.html and here is a video I just did with their updated routines for 2023: ruclips.net/video/AHR6322WwQ8/видео.html
For the sheets/towels, we do that laundry on Wednesday instead of the one regular load of clothes like we do on other days of the week. It works better to do this on Wednesday since it is a busy day for us, and we won't have to fold a full load of clothes, but gathering the towels and later folding them is very quick. Then we will do 1 of the 4 bed's sheets on Wednesday as well and we are able to quickly make that bed before bed. Then we just rotate which bedding gets washed.
As far as mopping, I consider that part of the downstairs floors for me. But in my most recent cleaning routine video (ruclips.net/video/5HoaTmEnK2A/видео.html), I talk about how my cleaning routines have changed over the years depending on how much time I have, how old my kids are, what are weekly schedule is like etc. So my main thing that I want everyone to take away from my cleaning routines is to make your cleaning routine work for you, and if you need to leave something off, that's ok! You can always add in more later :)

Hi! So sorry about that, the old cleaning schedule template isn't available anymore, but the checklist still is!
If you aren't receiving emails, it's possible that the emails are going to your junk folder.
You can send me an email to makingtimeforgiggles@gmail.com I can make sure that you are on the list and are getting everything that you have signed up for. Sometimes it just takes getting a reply to tell your email provider that you actually want that email.
