- We don't hear much about the Fear of God today but Jesus spoke about it and we should too. You just might be surprised at the many benefits of fearing God and the positive nature of this important subject.
There is a deception from a vast majority of the church that fearing God and obeying His commandments IS legalism. However, I've found that considering the severity of God brings a consideration of His goodness and mercy. It's a fear that He places in our hearts once we become Born Again and, in His love, He keeps us on the narrow path by chastening us when we begin to veer too far to the left or right. Praise the Lord.

My phobia is Sharks. With good reason. Perfectly OK being land locked . Terrifying! Born on a Island, raised on a different island. I will not put my toe in ocean. Sharks will show up.
