Most of her songs have a darker or deeper meaning, which is what I love about them. She has a few lighter songs, like 'Buss it Down' (a bit of a reversal where the song is fun but not at all how you would expect it to sound from the title lol) and 'Worth It'. 1 comment was about independence, this has another meaning when we are talking about RAYE , she had problems with labels , she was not able to sing what she wanted and so on.
Her live singing is so good. Especially when we are talking about escapism. She sings it so different every time.
If you remember there was a moment in Genesis music video when raye is sitting in the crowd, she was looking same as here , in escapism music video. So there was connection
