Indeed it was! I think I may have interrupted a birthday party or something. Either that or they were all rushing out to greet me because they thought I was bringing the cake for the party.
Yeah...she likes to make noise and wants to be let in/out a LOT when I'm trying to record. I can't count the number of times I've sat down, hit the "record" button, and she immediately scratches at the door 😑 Or she'll lay directly in front of me and start chewing on a bone so my mic just picks up a bunch of grinding noises in the background. I'm 99% certain she does it on purpose.
Oh I know she's smart. She knows exactly what I'm saying most of the time. I can tell her something like "you're not getting treats until you finish the food in your dish" and she'll sigh as if to say "fine..." and then go eat her food, then come back and look back and forth from me to her food dish and paw at me like she's saying "I finished my food. See! Can I have treats now?"
Re motorbikes: I really liked having the cruiser. When I played multiplayer with my sister, we would take the cruisers and just explore the map. Great fun.
That's what I'd like to do. That's actually part of why I bought SCUM in the first place. I wanted to go explore the map on a motorcycle, maybe do some camping off the bike. Then I get the game only to find out they took out all the bikes but the dirtbike. The dirtbike is still fun, but holy crap it gets irritating listening to that sporadic buzz constantly. In my early streams, I had to turn the effects volume down to like 20% because folks couldn't stand the sound of the dirtbike. I'm hoping the cruiser sounds better. I'm really looking forward to it!
I’ve discovered something about cargo drops. When you arrive at a cargo drop you can’t run down the puppets until they have agro-ed. So, I drive around until all the puppets have agro-ed, then, rather than run them all down, hitting a dozen trees in the process, I just slowly lead them away until they all despawn. Now, doing that works, but it seems too cheaty. So, I’ve given myself a challenge… I try to get to the cargo drop killing as few puppets as I can, just those directly in my path. With the puppets being so oblivious, this is easier than you would think.
I noticed that too. But my experience has been that they respawn back at the drop if they get far enough away to despawn. I would try sneaking around them, but I enjoy taking them out, especially from a distance. Sniping them with the Kar98 from the hill was honestly the most fun I've had at a drop so far.
I think the only way you can build doors there is to place a flag down, and then you can build the doors, but you'd have to build a foundation first, unless you're building the perimeter wall-type doors, but I'm not sure you'd have room for those.
The Devs said there will be a “Soft Wipe” coming by the end of the week. He recommended we stock up on gold, as gold isn’t wiped. Personally, I’m not exactly sure what a “Soft Wipe” entails. I don’t know if that means my base will be deleted or just my loot etc. SO, I’m selling off all my loot and putting it in gold so I can rebuy a lot of it after the wipe. The main problem with selling everything is that I have over 100,000 worth of weapons and the traders only have 10,000 each so I am running around to all 4 trades over and over again.
I THINK "soft wipe" means everything but your gold and stats go away. I'm not 100% certain, but I think it means you lose your base. You definitely lose all your stuff, but I'm not positive about the base. I guess we'll find out later this week.
Do you mean the AKS-74U (the smaller, shorter, more compact-looking AK)? If so, it does not. It is chambered in 5.45x39mm. The drums for the RPK hold 7.62x39mm. The only weapons that can accept the RPK drum are the RPK, the AK-47 (standard AK with folding stock) and the AKM (standard AK with wooden stock). I really wish the AK-15 could use the drums, and host a bayonet, because I really like the look of the AK-15 over the original AK-47s.
That was quite the party in the sub base office!

@FlailyMcFlailerson Animals are much cleverer and cunning then we give them credit for!

@@FlailyMcFlailerson I was told the same as a kid, my excuse for carrying a spare tyre now....

That's what it sounds like. I'm very excited. The cruiser will likely be my priority vehicle to find and fix up after the update.

You can’t close the SB office doors, but you can build one at each end. At least you could two years ago, not sure about now though.

I think the AK-47U takes the drum AK mags
