      Got it! So we're going with: "What's up, Neighborino's! My name is Howdilly Doodilly and welcome to.......what game are we playing again...?" That's about how my brain actually works most of the time, so it would be me being me AND would keep everybody guessing (including me!) 😅

    The M249 is nice to look at. It even has accessories unlike the M249 in No One Survived. I haven't used it much. I used to use the Engraved AK47 with the 75 round drum mag. Then I changed to the MK18. Haven't used any rifles for quite a while.

      I prefer the AK47 with the drum mag over the M249. Much faster to reload if the need arises, and 7.62x39 seems to hit a pinch harder than 5.56x45. I'm still trying to get my hands on that SCAR-L. Yeah, it's still 5.56, so it will probably be about the same as the MK18, but I still want to try it out.

    i dont really mind how you introduce the videos, just say whatever you feel on the day.
    the 249 seems like more of a liability than being a good choice of weapon :)
    I really wish the devs would add crawler puppets. it really bugs me when they jump down from like 40 feet and instantly get up running at you. in reality their legs would be shattered into dust, undead or not
    in Scotland (well Glasgow and the west coast) every "soda" is called ginger. coke is a can of ginger, lemonade is a can of ginger sprite is a can of ginger, I thin it stems from the most popular soft drink in Scotland being IRN-BRU (pronounced iron brew) which is a kinda ginger hair/rust colour. on the east coast and places like Edinburg they usually just call it juice. (even coke would be a can of juice). Scots are weird that way we have strange words for most things :)
    personally I like the longer videos non "interesting bits" included it shows a more true to life take on the game. most of scum is spent doing nothing and travelling around.
    I also switch between 3rd and 1st. if im just running around getting stuff done im usually in 3rd but when it comes to shooting ill always be in 1st person,

      I agree on the M249 being a liability for me. On the other hand, I would've had to reload twice had I been using any other 5.56 weapon, so it may have saved me (even though it's what got me into trouble in the first place...).
      I also agree on the crawler puppets. They should not be getting up and sprinting after dropping from 2 stories up. For that matter, they shouldn't be jumping over speeding cars, either. I hope the devs make the puppets a bit more realistic.
      I prefer watching videos that include the "less interesting" bits as well. I hate videos that are just full of jump-cuts. It ruins the immersion and "story-telling" of the video. I don't even like having to cut things like inventory management or long drives out of my videos, because I personally enjoy watching those things, so long as the person in the video is still talking or interacting somehow. If it's just silence while watching various items get dragged around on screen, then yeah, that should be cut. But the "down time" activities like driving or short inventory management is a good time to engage with the audience and let them get to know you outside of "I shoot zombies and yell things!"

      I didn't notice them flying like that in the moment, but now that I rewatch it, there were a couple that really got launched! I think one flew OVER the perimeter wall!

    googled the m 249 it's full auto but can be converted to have selective fire so maybe the devs will do that down the road

      I'd love to see them add a .44 magnum lever-action rifle. That would tame the recoil, increase the capacity a bit, allow for better accuracy at distance, and would allow (potentially) for a suppressor and possibly better optics.

      I like the MP5SD and the M9. Both solid weapons with readily available ammo, plus I like the integral suppressor on the MP5SD. I really wish rifle ammo was more plentiful, but unless you buy it or craft it, you're not going to find enough, usually (or at least I don't). So going with something in a pistol caliber or a shotgun works out the best if you're primarily scavenging ammo.

    Like the consensus here, just greet us however the heck you like. However, I will say, your very first style of Intro was erm well yeah..........
    I champion 1st person all day and every day and even on Sundays. But you know this, I have been a wee bit vocal about it. Just enjoy the game.

    The drills sell for ~$500.
    I don’t generally like the revolvers, for their ammo limit, but they are cool to use.
    As for 1sr/3rd person views… Like you, I tend to switch back and forth depending on the situation. As for watching other people’s videos, I like the 3rd person view.
    If you want to prioritize the red screwdrivers place the black/yellow screwdriver on the ground, just don’t forget to pick it up after.
    You’re lucky none of those puppets that just dropped in from above were ‘happies’. They would have ruined your day. 💥💥 Oops, spoke to soon.🪦 I always carry at least one tourniquet just in case. Depending on your medical skill, just one tourniquet can fix a C4 injury.
    Yea, finish what you started, I’ll watch.
    Once you’re off camera, just use the SCUM Admin Helper to teleport back to the base. I woun’t tell anyone, I promise.

      I agree about the revolver's capacity. That and the slow reload time. But the trade off's are reliability (now that weapon malfunctions are back in the game) and (for me) the ability to not have to rely on magazines. With the semi-auto's, if you don't have more loaded mags, you're down to a single-shot weapon. The revolvers work with loose ammo, which also means you can just carry stacks of loose ammo (which are more than the capacity of any of the pistol magazines), so it works out well for inventory space.
      As for screwdrivers, I'm not risking losing a yellow screwdriver, because I absolutely would. I've left entire chests full of loot on the side of the road because I forgot to put them back in my car. There's no way I wouldn't forget to pick up the yellow screwdriver again, and those things are gold when it comes to lockpicking!
      I really should just carry tourniquets or hemostatic dressings, anything that's more efficient than a bundle of rags! The rag bundles are your med kit as a somewhat fresh spawn, yet here I am using them instead of the actual medical supplies I have in the car 🤦‍♂️
      The big problem with using the Admin Helper to teleport around is that I can't bring my car with me. So yeah, I could get back to base, but then my car is still at the torpedo factory with all my loot in it. That's fine if I don't need anything out of the car, or don't need the car itself, but if I DO need any of my stuff, it doesn't work out so well. You also run the risk of the game teleporting you inside objects, or underneath solid ground (such as if you're teleporting to a pier or dock, where you then end up spawning underwater potentially trapped inside a concrete foundation...I've used the Admin Helper to explore the map a little bit just because I don't have time to spend 3 hours driving all over just to realize "this wasn't worth the trip at all" and often damaging my car along the way (because I'm such a good driver, as we all know 😁). You don't always get teleported onto solid ground...

      ⁠@@FlailyMcFlailersonDiddo on leaving a chest on the side of the road.🤦 Like you, I really wish the devs would give us some way of prioritizing which tool or arrow sets get used first.
      When I said teleport back to the base I ment back to the torpedo factory, poor choice of words on my part. And yes, I teleported back to the airport once and ended up ‘swimming’ in the concrete next to a hangar. But it is useful for those time you respawn all the way across the sector.
      It was really weird that you respawned standing on the ground rather than free falling.

      The devs added the option to spawn in on the ground now. I noticed it in the server settings. Not sure if I like it or not, since you can cover some ground in the air when you spawn on the wrong end of the sector.

      @@FlailyMcFlailerson I didn’t know that, good to know. I liked the free fall spawning but without your hands tied behind your back. You could cover a lot of ground before having to deploy your parachute.
