Great approach they've taken by moulding the kit with large parts like that but still retaining the detail. Very tempted to do something in 1/48 now. I hope they release some more kits like this!

Ausgezeichnet!! I was born in the wrong decade. The video games and model kits now are so excellent. To get a decent model back in the '80s or '90s one had to do some serious scratch building.
I never been a fan of 1/48 scale kits , but with what I see here I think you just changed my mind. And the price is great even though it would be far more expensive here in Canada. Out standing Kit , and thanks for sharing.🇨🇦👍
I love 1:48, probably my favorite scale to build in, just don’t like how the small parts some times completely melt when you putting them in, or melt and ruin the port for them after you miss putting it in

Go with the ICM figures-they are true 1/48 scale the Tamiya are on the small side. Also ICM makes 1/48th German aircraft mechanics which would be perfect for this kit.

I've just built 2 of the amusing hobby strabokrans in 1.35 there great for the RFM Tigers massive things! The whole top frames one slide moulded peice its really nice! Bit about tile the 1.48 guys got something half decent to build up now, hopefully that'll make a change to the 1.48
You are so right, what a cool kit, and the price for what you get...what a bargoon. Too bad it's not in a larger scale, for us shaky oldsters, ha ha. I am impressed with this kit and Suyata as well. Gotta put a few bucks on the side and start saving for this, even though it's small.

Excellent review, it really took a while for good information to get out about this kit. The non-diorama version is probably going to be even better value for money!
Haven't gotten my hands on this kit yet but, I do have one of their Russian T-90A kits with the GAZ "Tiger" (which isn't out in the US yet.) and it's a really nice kit for 1/48 scale. As for this Panther kit the only gripe I've heard so far are the track's guide horns.
It's funny because when i was building a Tiger II factory diorama a few years ago, there was only a resin kit of the Strabokran, so i had to do it without it, after i finished the diorama, a few months later they started to sale plastic kits of it... :D
I wanted to buy the Suyata Space Battleship & Robot kits for Mutsu and Nagato as soon as they get out & the money is on the bank. Money came late this month, and they were sold out. Then i thought to myself oh well, bummer, maybe i buy that diorama set as a consolation. Thought a bit too long about it - sold out. Im not even mad, they seem to sell their limited stock quite well + more new companies producing nice stuff is always a plus.
Fantastic idea. If anything is going me to build a tank not in 1:35 it would be this... However The covers for the engine schould had been seperated to a better view of the engine and also for a maintenance dirorama. and the cover over the driver/mg gunner hatches schould had been seperated too. But still a fantastic kit.. I need it as much as I need to breath air :-)
Those sprues and instructions look like Takom as well. Although the instructions on this, are far better than what Takom does. This will be on my short list of kits to buy.

The cynic in me says wait.....wait for Andy ( or Martin ‘Nightshift’ Kovac ) to build this....for that price it seems to good to be true, and you know what they say about that....I hope I’m proven wrong though, I have two Strabokran kits in 1/35 for future projects, and love the engineering on them so looking forward to seeing this built....
A full interior kit in a maintenance diorama makes so much sense. This could be my first 1:48 model kit since the early 1990s.
