brilliant gig the vunerablity of Suggs here is open to see and he handles it brilliantly. Perhaps his voice isnt the greatest but it is a very special and unique sound and not easy to replicate, if you have ever tried to sing a madness song!! Then you have, what I firmly believe is one of the best keyboard players on the planet, Barso. What a truly special gig.
Love this shame the picture quality isn't a tad better. Beautiful stripped back versions with 2/7 of the full band (when in their complete line-up at various stages in time). Proved you do great versions with just the voice and piano. Well done Suggs n Mike
❤madness outstanding band British through through never be band like them again most humble guys in industry memorabilia songs years too come
madness are without doubt one of the best ever UK bands . Sadly I don't think got the global recognition they deserved.
I'm argentinian and I've loved the band for... 34 years now. I'm really happy about the present of the band too.
the GOT it !! why must i so often read this nonsense of "underrated"???
Quintessentially British, absolute national treasures they are. Brilliant since 1979.
Amazing pianist is Mike! What he doesn't know about the keyboard isn't worth knowing!
Suggs tries to be humble about his voice, saying he doesn't have a good one, but it's truly unique and beautiful. What a great performance.
He's grown into his voice...timeless and characterful...the love-child of David Bowie and Michael Caine....
Monsieur Barson is so talented
S R totally talented and outstanding pianist!
He sure is!
And some of us thought back in the 80s they were idiots leaping about.
Folks this is sheer talent.
Mike's a genius.
This is very special
Such an intimate performance the whole audience were so lucky to have been there, thanks for the upload it took me back to my teens👍🙏👏👏👏👏👏
Brilliant!
I love Madness!

unbelievable, nothing more nothing less, madness is the best !
Back here again. Can't get enough of this one! Loving 'Powder blue' and that version of 'It must be love' is to die for.
I often think Madness may have been the greatest band of my lifetime.
Perfect. Perfect music, setting and feeling. If these two are going to do this sort of thing again somebody should let me know about it.
These guys always put a smile on my face "amazing memories" Oh what fun I had ☺
Mike Barson is a GREAT song writer.
Forever amazing Madness 😎!! 👍👍

09:40 It must be love
It's your rubey celebration lads
Nice one Scott lad! ;)
Mike Barson is brilliant, he seems to me that he looks like a bit Gary Brooker.
Better with just a piano.
I would agree.
Edward Pearce for My Girl, I would agree! not so much with Baggy Trousers though for me-
Just peaceful, soothing and much more romantic and melancholic - love it this way! :)
