Hi Arlene🎉 It's a dupe of Sugar by Franck Boclet. Unfortunately it wasn't what I expected. I wanted to use dis fragrance as a sweetener but there's nothing sweet about dis scent to my nose. If after 3 months of letting it sit i still feel d same way, will declutter it. SOTD - elie saab parfum OG layered with elie saab in white.
I had my eye on that one some months ago but never ended up trying it. I'm pretty picky about anything floral so I'd definitely try a decant first. My SOTD is Happy Dust layered with Hempz coconut vanilla lotion😍
@@maryammonroy1435 I am planning to blind buy it. But I don't like Jasmine note at all. Do you get Jasmine note here? Is it overall a floral fragrance ? Sorry for asking so many questions 🥹
@ is definally a floral gourmand fragance but I dont feel the jazmin I pick up the violet like a poudery sweet violet and very creamy , I think is a great perfume and for the price it worth it
I absolutely love Forbidden Sugar. I just received it a few days ago, it appears to be ready to use with no maceration and performs well. Like the commenter below I find it addictive and will absolutely buy it again. SOTD Jasmine of Athens.
Hi Arlene, I always enjoy your reviews and assessment of the new perfumes. I am wearing vanilla romance perfume from Bath & Body Works today layered with the lotion. It is very yummy and sort of boozy vanilla. Regarding the edible flowers I think orchid petals are edible. At least some orchids we used to go to dinner with my mother-in-law and there was a dessert that came with those petals on them, and she would always eat them every one of them, I think it was for shock factor !
My sotd today is si passion. I’ve had this travel size since 2020 and am finally nearing the end. I like it but don’t wear it often. And now I kind of want to use it up. Yesterday was interesting though - scents of wood bread in chestnut.
My SOTD is Innocent by Mugler, which I picked up this morning. This used to be my signature scent, years ago and since it’s no longer available and very unique, I was thrilled I managed to find one (had to pay 150 Euros though and it was the cheapest one I found online, brand new 😮). My scent of the evening will be Blu by Acqua dell’Elba, a beautiful twin of my beloved Womanity, also by Mugler. Gorgeous sweet fig, without the caviar sea note.
Oh I love Innocent too❤ what a shame that we can’t find it anymore for a reasonable price😢 do you know a good and affordable dupe? Greetings from Switzerland😊
@@puppsilol4775 Unfortunately, I don't know of any noteworthy dupe, except that the current version of Molinard’s Nirmala is supposed to be quite similar. But I haven't tried it, I've only come across the old version of Nirmala and I don't even remember it. For me, Mugler's scents have always been unique and never wishy-washy, which is something I often encounter when testing perfumes now. However, if you're looking for something in the fruity-gourmand category, but not too girly, my latest discovery is Vintage Radio by Lattafa (supposedly a clone of Initio Paragon, for which I'm not willing to pay 250 or 300 Euro) - a beautiful, sweet, but not too sweet combination of plum and lavender on a woody base. Greetings from Poland 😊
Thanks for the review. I’m in the fence about buying this. I like goirmands but not candy scents. I’m still unsure. SOTD: DKNY be delicious. It’s a hot day in California 😃
I really like this fragrance. You might want to sample Wayward Charlie ( who comes up with these names..🙈), which is a dupe of another one of FranK Boclat's fragrances, Cocaïne. That one is very unique...tobacco, patchouli, red berries, vanilla. I'm still on the fence about it, yet I keep smelling it...🤔
Today I'm wearing Blanche Bete and Kayali Yum Pistachio and it's interesting that I wore the Paris Corner Forbidden Sugar yesterday. To tell you the truth, I got this fragrance a long time ago - it's a dupe of Franck Boclet Sugar which I've never tried - and my first impression was not as good as yours. There was something very artificial in it and I just didn't like it at all and was sorely disappointed. But yesterday I decided to try it again, it's been sitting in a box for months now. It still has a very artificial top, and there is something in the mid that bugs me - might be the peach which doesn't always play nice on my skin, or maybe the strong, animalic honey?? I like honey but this is like bee saliva :). It doesn't make it unwearable, just not beautiful. BUT the late dry down, like after 4 hours, it smells delicious! Whatever that thing is in the middle that bugged me leaves a lovely sweet, marshmallowy finish. It is a skin scent by this point but it's so nice that I kept wondering what smelled so good and it was the Forbidden Sugar. Now, is it worth the 4 hour wait to get there for a beautiful skin scent???? I don't know......
Very interesting! It's cool to hear how things smell different just by letting it sit awhile and then revisiting it months later. 4 hours is a long time to wait to enjoy it! Bee saliva made me lol :)
@@DeliciousDelights It is really interesting, the maturing process that is. I'm hoping that Forbidden Sugar just keeps getting better - and who knows, it wouldn't be the first fragrance that I started out not liking that I ended up in love with :D
So I’m wearing Hypnotic Poison today, and this perfumes frustrates me so much!!!! I absolutely LOVE the scent itself, however every time I wear I go nose blind to it within 10 minutes. It makes me so sad because it’s one of the most beautiful perfumes I’ve ever smelled, so unbelievably unique to anything else I own, and yet I can’t even freaking enjoy it. And I’ve tried on my clothes, on my moisturized skin, in the front pieces of my long hair. No matter what I can’t smell it. Such a bummer. Mind you I’ve had it for years and I never stop trying. Every couple of month I’ll get it out and give it a shot. I wonder if anyone else had this issue? Anyway, I plan on spraying on another perfume soon and I’m leaning towards Rouge Smoking. I love this perfume, and if anyone else CAN smell my Hypnotic Poison (even though it’s been hours) I think it will blend well as it had a slight root beer vibe to it as well. I feel this perfume is so under rated. I know it had its moment with some people, but I think it’s more unique than most perfumes. Btw I’ve been making decent headway in using up the decants I have, but it’s also become apparent to me that I’m using up all my favorites. lol. That’s the down side. Oh well, once I work thru a bunch that aren’t favorites, just mere likes, I’ll def repurchase some of them. Starting with Iris Malikhan, Sublime Vanille by Creed, Bianco Latte, Narciso Poudre, Kilians Rolling in Love, Tonkade, Plum in Cognac, and Devotion by D&G. Oh and my travel spray of Bal d’afrique, because mine leaked out and u had only used it once!! Such a waste of money. I’m not ordering from that website again. Their travel size bottles are not secure enough. (Maxaroma)
Oh wow! I have a friend who experiences the same with HP. He says HP doesn't last long, yet I can smell the sillage. It's a shame :( Thanks for sharing the decants you've been enjoying. It reminds me to reach more for mine as well before they evaporate :)
@@DeliciousDelights Ok I’m glad I’m not the only one that has a hard time smelling it!! Also , I thank YOU for doing the video a long way back where you showed your decants had evaporated. That really helped me to understand I need to enjoy the ones I have rather than trying to save them forever. Obviously I still try to go slow with the really expensive ones. lol. I mean I got a few 2mls of Guerlains new extraits , and each one was $54!!!! Insane. lol
I have this and its been sitting for about a month- to me it still smells strongly of citronella... I really dont get the "sweetness" yet. Its very floral too I hope it calms down 😢😅
Forbidden sugar looks like a dupe for cocaine by Franck Boclet...even the bottle looks similar! My scent of the day is Eaudemoiselle Bois de Oud by Givenchy.
In love with this one 🥰 There's something addictive about this scent. I'm on the second bottle 😁🙈

Today I wore Unknown Pleasures. I also own Forbidden Sugar, wasn't sure about it at first but now I love it. For me it gives a soapy cocnut vibe.
I’ve been holding back on buying frags lately. This one has been keeping my attention tho.
I'm using a dupe of Devotion, wich I loved❤❤ This Forbidden sugar sound appealing to me, I'm really in Sugar caramel vibes lately❤❤
Ooh what is the dupe of Devotion please?
