So all applications are up to date. I believe the J5 was purchased 3 Yrs back. So if i am Transferring data for her, would it not be that some of the New pre-installed apps of Samsung in the J4+ be replaced by the older apps of Samsung. I know apps, games etc, on her phone are easy to upgrade. Any further guidance is much appreciated.

Agar dusta mobile format kre to jis mobile me data transfer kia tja to data to delete nahi ho ga. Or transfer ka baad app uninstall kar sakte hai kya. Tell. ☺
when it's turned off hold the volume button and power button, it should show You option to wipe Your data and restore factory settings - do not do it just choose "no" and try to turn it on again like usual. It may help.
with this app You can transfer data from one phone to another. For example if You have a new phone You can transfer contacts, messages, photos, music and applications to Your new device from the old one :)

It will work with app but it will have to be installed again so I don't think the progress will remain as it was (unless all app files are placed in specific folder).
@@elpimproy It is a little complicated and it depends on the app. Any app must be installed on new device so it works like it was never used before. However You may copy files from old phone and paste it to the proper folder on new device - in most apps it will work :)

Sorry I haven't tried to transfer data from apple device but it's weird that the iPhone would loose the data afterwards.

No SIM card needed - You have to try with LG - not all of the phones are compatible.

Unfortunately it is not possible to keep game progress as the app needs to be installed on new device.
How to do the same but one phone is broken so you can't use it's screen at all?
You can not use it. Completely black. My guess was if using cables there was a chance to use an adicional screen
