Another great test! I've been looking for a good wireless system, as I don't have one currently. I will definitely give these a try. Awesome review!
I've always wondered how one of these wireless units would sound. Now I know, sounds gr8! Thanks Shane! 👍
I like!!! Never been a wireless fan but I think this unit will change my mind!!! Really enjoy watching you play in the woods!!🤣😂. Great demo Shane! Cheers!!🎸🎸🎸🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Every time I see one of these Wireless videos I say to myself how come I don't have one. LOL
Meanwhile, in Australia.. 🤣 My neighbors must think I am nuts!

There he goes again playing guitar in the bush WTF 😂
Your Australian, you are Nuts so don't worry about it lol 😃
@@johnmontague69 0:05 ..... ! A wild Shane, in it's natural habitat.
Thankfully a sensible review of this product. Thanks Shane....it looks good.
Another informative review Shane. ps - Fantastic gig on Sunday Arvo, will def come to more ; ) T.
Really smart, competent review. Thx.
love that strat Shane!
I use the Xvive U2 which is also a 2.4GHz wireless with 100 ft of freedom, 5 hours of run time, works brilliantly and mounts flush with any guitar style.
Aussies in the woods. Sounds like a kickass band name
Gino Inzerillo it’s gonna be the last time to see those woods.
Looks great demo as always man! Did you try plugging the receiver into a pedalboard? Both ways: wireless(guitar) to pedalboard(wireless) and also pedalboard (wireless) to amp (wireless). Curious to see if they pick up any noise from the pedals/power supply. In theory, it shouldn’t, but sometimes you never know....🤔🤙🏻😎🎸
Great review , It may be more practical ( and better looking too ) if the device can be attached to the guitar strap with short cable & plug connection to guitar ! The ANGUS YOUNG method ! ( similar to the Schaffer Vega Diversity wireless System ) :-)
The australian jungle must be a dangerous place as far as I know....You are a brave man! :D
These mini wireless loops are getting really good these days! Nice.
Your mommas a loop
@@kingfisher7960 EXCUSE me?
" blueswackin while bushwacking " he he he he he :D Great job on this & sounds promising !!
Shane, BEHRINGER have just released a COPY microphone called the B906 which is a blatant copy of the Sennheiser E609. Might make a GOOD shoot out, see if there is any difference in rec sound!
Cheers!
can you do a comparison video between this one (Nux B-5RC) and Nux B2, comparing all features, pros and cons. That would be awesome
how cool is that ive been using xvive u2 now im sold.. gotta order 1
Nifty system. It's the Dux Nux!
Nice idea in theory, however my unit experiences severe latency problems when used with HX Stomp XL to the point it’s unusable. Was really disappointed as that’s what I purchased it for. Back to cables.
Can you make a review on a live situation where other wireless system are used. And how the channel matching works
Off-topic, but that white strat of yours sounds great!
(I'm going to stick with cables)
Great review Shane, thanks much!!
Shane, how does this match up with some of the others you have tested? There are a lot of vids on these things, most notably the XVIVe. The reviews seems to be all over the place as to weather they like them or don’t. Have you gigged with it? Will it hold up?
All this similar looking wireless packs I bet are made in the same factory. They all look very alike with some tweaks on the housing.
What's that in the scope? Its an inthebluesasaurus. Very rare for these parts ;-)
Wireless packs are getting pretty good these days for cheap. I like the fact it comes with a charging case, that a clever idea.
Thanks for the review! Have you tried in a Telecaster with a recessed jack?
I have the last gen NUX unit and it seems to drop out a fair bit when it is plugged into my pedal board! Any chance you could give it a whirl through your pedal boards into an effects loop and into the front of the amp?
cheers 👍🇦🇺🐨
Hi! Why do this wireless system wouldn't work when gigging? Subscribed! Kind regards!
Great demo. Could I use this on a keyboard? Namely Roland AX_EDGE keytar? I currently have Boss WL-20L which gives me static coming over the speakers.
I dont know how much these things are. Ive always used cables but if their not that expensive it might be fun to have.
Oi Shane, sticky velcro on the unit and the Les Paul would keep it firm mate
Great idea!
Is there a difference in volume levels between a standard guitar cable and NUX B5RC? When having the guitar volume knob all the way to 10, the other brands i bought only give 6/10 and 8/10. i wish to find one that can give 10/10
I was kind of worried when you stepped outside ! Might have caught on fire! But alas... no problem
Did this unit glitch out at the same place that the other units uv tried outside ? Thx
I play in the church before the mass, then sit and play again after 45 minutes.
The mixer sits away from me and no one sit next to it.
When I play again after 45 minutes, the unit that’s plugged in my guitar already went into sleep mode, which I’ll press on it to bring it back to life.
Fir the unit that’s plugged in the mixer, do I need also someone to press on it to bring it to life, or will it detects that the guitar side is active now and connects back?
7:22
There's a high frequency I'm hearing when you're pausing for a moment here, is that from your amp or room noise from something else?
Brandon Hill that’s the clang of the reverb tank bleeding into my shirt mic.
@@intheblues Gotcha! Can you do a vid testing this on a bass with Active pick ups! I can't find a vid like that anywhere on RUclips!
my chief concern is durability. how easy is it to break?
I like mine, but one problem is one of the units won't hold charge, will bleed off. Sure wish I could get a message to the manufacture. To see if something can done to fix this problem. Does anyone know how??
Can you connect from Guitar to a Pedalboard?
Pronounced New X....... We have been pronouncing this brand Nucks. Always learning on this channel
What's it like onstage among phones and other wirelesses?
My LTD active (emg pups) Works great with this, but with volume pot switch completely off it still has (maybe half) the sound coming out. any ideas how to remedy? (doesnt do this when using cable)
Do they make a right handed version??? 🤔🤔🤔😁
Will this 1/4” fit into
Ibanez Jem jack?
The case is a really cool idea, similar to my Samsung and Apole ear buds. I have a deep disdain for micro-USB tho. If they had USB-C, I'd be all over em.
Looks good - does it work with active pickups?
It works perfectly with active pickups.
@@michaeloyo4817 Nice thank you:)
Does it work on acustics?
Cuando estás tocando, y el sistema inalambrico se mueve, ¿se corta la señal?
Mira el vídeo en la parte de la casa
instead of double sided tape, use velcrow
Cautionary note, these 2.4 Ghz units have problems when in proximity to wireless routers. I can't use any 2.4 GHz units in my studio at all. Only the 5 GHz units work.
Try the B-5RC, it has current environment detection while auto paired. But it's still necessary that keep 3 meters away from WiFi router. Cause WiFi router uses various frequencies.
went to there site not there?
It doesn't come with the cable to charge the main case?
Yes it does
can you connect this to your pedals?
Yes, use it exactly like a cable; between pedal, amp, anywhere...
@@jonelordieta7573 thanks. I guess its time to ditch those nasty cables.
Blues player sighting video. Like Bigfoot. LOL
Does it work with right handed guitars?
Forgive my ignorance, newbie here. What are they for what do they do?
this doesn't need wifi right?
LOL
What song is that on background?🤔
Aren't you afraid of Tigers in trees?
Drop bears can be problematic though
Great product, but owners of GODIN A6 ULTRA, A6, A6 ULTRA BARI, A12 ( and maybe other Godin piezzo equipped guitars ) beware! It won't work!
No body test these next to a guitar lead
Had four goes at trying to search a price for this in the UK and failed each time. Stupid way to try and sell something. Gave up and moved on with my life.
Like mob phones .....i suspect in a few yrs we will have wireless as big as a flea ....and we will laugh at the "bricks " we used lol
