Tabs are easy to follow with a little knowledge and practice. I recommend finding a local instructor for a some one-on-one lessons to give you a foundation to build off of. I also offer one-on-one on-line lessons. Tabs represent your ukulele strings with 4 horizontal lines. The bottom line in the tab = the string closest to the ceiling on your uke (G string/string 4). The top line in the tab = the string closest to the ground on your ukulele (A string/string 1). The numbers represent which fret to play and the lines the numbers are written on tell you which string to fret/play. The music reads from left to right. The notation above it represents pitch and rhythm. Have fun. You can do this.
