Its a painful story that taught me a very important lesson in life; perseverance.
Women think I don’t have a heart when I tell them to love,support and pray for their husbands, “If your husband comes back home be grateful to God.”
I met my husband during my college days I was young and hot but I have stuck with him through thick and thin.

Instead of teaching daughters to persevere, why don't we raise the bar for men and teach them to muster their lust? Why should women be the only ones working hard to keep families intact. Why not empower men to be the leaders that the Bible says they should be?

Sadly her advice is gone with the times. Today we have ukimwi, kaswende, kisonono and Hpv which causes cancer no one is worth your health.

Sijaona yote..but I wonder how many men would stay in a marriage if for some reason sex was off the table. Women do it all the time...but I am not so sure that men would? Another scenario is if the lady is the main bread winner and the man cheats and is maybe abusive. Should I still be submissive? Or are there some conditions under which submission may not apply? This is a tricky one..and in my view, religion and church have played a part in keeping people in abusive or unhappy marriages. Personal responsibility and a lot of discernment are key here.
