Man this was one of my favorite reactions/non reactions ive ever seen and ive seen loads, with the editing, how human and genuine u come across. I appreciate how u see that the visuals are just as important if not more in some cases, cause for me when the songs done thats only the work 50% done I find putting together these videos just as exciting. Was definitely the case for Animal Flow. Appreciate all the kind words and support man subscribed!

This is absolutely 100% the most creative reacting video I have ever seen. I mean that from every part of my soul. This was phenomenal. I am so excited that I'm a part of the just under 3,000 subscribers because your channel is 100% going to blow up. Not just because Ren shouted you out. But because of the way your mind works and your videos are incredible. You hit the nail on the head bro. Reaction or non reaction you hit it right on the head. Rens music is definitely a 50/50 deal. 50 lyrics and 50 visual which to me is partly why ive fallin in love with his music. He tells a story and in a day and age where all that matters is whats popular on tv he stays completely away from all of that and speaks on real life values and problems. Hes writing money game part 3 right now and he said its gonna be his best work yet. Funny you spoke about rage against the machine and money game is going to be coming soon.

Very well said, all of it. Ren is special. Who he is as a human, thrown into the forge of his life experience, has created someone so unique and so achingly human and SO F**KING TALENTED that people are naturally drawn to him. As a nurse and the mom of a teenaged musician with a mood disorder, I want to wrap Ren in the biggest hug...and then dance my ass off at one of his shows. 😂 And because of his talent and relatability and genre bending, I think he has most of us stepping outside our normal musical comfort zones just so we can get more Ren. That is a gift. I can't wait to see what he does next, and i am here for ALL of it.

I wholly agree, there's some tangible frequency associated with authenticity that I'm positive we can sense in one another (or the absence of it), and to be allowed to participate in the journey of one's suffering is a huge trust building privilege for some people, especially when it's translated through incredible songwriting and technical proficiency. Conversely, and equally so, ...how we sense inauthentic encounters. And... as we each face our demons/triggers, ...drop our no doubt well-earned defense patterns, ...and, borrowing from one of my favorite lines from a movie, let our freak-flags fly [🥰 love that expression for authenticity]... we encounter similar expressions of authenticity reflected back to us in a glorious feedback loop. The Universe says "Yes! More of that please!" If you believe in a creator... imagine them waiting for the day you FINALLY express yourself in the world the way they intended the day their thought of you manifested into form. Suddenly all the elements of the "you shaped manifestation" can fit perfectly into the puzzle of abundance made from a currency far superior to man-made money: a life-giving current/currency of energy. Great non-reaction reaction Wolf! My first take was mostly visual as well. It's been like a puzzle box where with each listen, something new pops out at me. Even on the 100th (ish) listen,

Ay thank you so much! I'm with you on this one. It didn't resonate with me in the visceral, emotional way his other songs has - instead it asks of a different lens, so I'm going to spend some more time with it. This song would be a great part of an album to break up some weightier stuff.
Ren is inspiration. Just kinda waiting for the ripple effect of that inspiration to strike others such as yourself. I'm intrigued by what that might bring. I like the reflection of the mirror part.

Really enjoyed your non-reaction discussion! I think you would like his interview with Justin Hawkins. Ren said that this album will be all hip hop as he wanted to prove he could do it, but the next album will be more rock and melody. He thought the current album was finished in January but he is in the process of adding one more track. So there will be 16/17 songs on there and we have heard 4 of them. (I believe they are Hi Ren, Sick Boi, Illest of Our Time, and Animal Flow.)

You, like Ren, inspire reflection, ...contemplation, ...dare I say ...revelation. The density of your content never fails to prompt me to enter into a stream of consciousness that expands the ground I stand on. How can I possibly express enough gratitude for that gift?! Words fail me... perhaps because some gifts, ...like suffering, ...are beyond words: or my words, anyway. Your words... however, never miss the mark. You aim them elegantly, with precision and, best of all, with good intention: in service to something greater than yourself. My cajun grandmother taught me a concept called lagniappe: a little something extra thrown in for free... a bonus... a free gift. For me, it's the thoughtful immersed in the moment fully engaged feeling with calm with a depth that suggests if you said 'oh, yes I've been a music journalist for about 15 years now writing for music magazines that focus on the culture of music as influencer of society, particularly x y z genres' I'd be like, oh yeah, makes sense. Reflective is something I don't think I've seen any other reactor do with quite the pause you permit yourself to be in contemplation as a natural flow on from curiosity and openness you have. As a feeling there's a calm felt that I don't get from others that comes across too. I think it's naturally how you are and in the online landscape it's extremely rare and in the reactor space I think it's what's needed and allows the conversation to be elevated beyond just the (while wonderful and beautiful and enjoyable in their own right in the same way a party is) more emotive instant reactions. Alles Klar? (as they say in the region I live)
@@thewolfjohnson I guess it’s my ADHD brain lol. I loved the different clips in different locations. It was more interesting and kept me focused. For people that have heard the song z million times before, like me, it was rather nice hearing your opinion after you had time to digest it, as well as the sharing of other tidbits. Though I suppose for those who haven’t heard the song, they’d probably want to hear it while you react. But I think mostly I liked this because it was different and stood apart from other reactions.

@@thewolfjohnson I was being playful and appreciative. Honestly, I myself am somewhat new to hiphop as a genre. That conscious hiphop exists as a subgenre and YOU raised my awareness of it is a big plus. Ren is evoking discussion and education. You seem to be of a similar ilk. :)

Came here on Ren's recommendation, subbing cause you're awesome bro. Love everything - your style, your thoughts. Spot on, we are ride or die for Ren! I've never seen comments where everyone is constantly pointing out their age before, and at first I thought that was odd. Then I realized, all these people just want him to know that he is impacting everyone, regardless of age or musical tastes. I haven't talked to anyone who has heard of Ren and didn't like at least some of his stuff. There's only two reactors I've seen that were not feelin it and not gonna lie it felt like a personal attack. But from the comments, a LOT of people felt that way too lol. Ha that was way longer than it was meant to be!

Wow wow wow…… I couldn’t have put it any better, I agree with you 100%. Possible waffle warning!!! I have to share my thoughts. I have said for a very long time that Ren could become a great of our time and an historical great. Maybe extreme and OTT? Not at all, he is a voice for so many, and the number is clearly growing. Like you say the very grass roots followers were so devoted and “followed their leader” collectively widening their welcoming arms to ANYONE they meet on the way, ALL INCLUSIVE. However because of the respect I have for Ren, I realise that is a lot to put on one man’s shoulders. After watching this I realise everything Ren does has a purpose, in his music every beat, melody, visual, lyric and pause are intentional. He is leading his followers to others he know share his thoughts and outlook to life (his disciples some might say) so that collectively we will lead ourselves and he can just provide us the soundtrack. That my friend is why I believe he introduced so many of us to you 🫶

Wow! That was my first non reaction to anything and I loved it. Definitely appreciated your thoughts about the AF video and how there was so much going on. I had to watch the video without sound a few times and then listen to the track without visuals once I’d watched the premiere as I didn’t want to miss anything. I’m still picking up new sounds or images each time I watch.
Thought you were spot on with your views about Ren as a leader and his fan base - I only came to his music in January but I trust him and trust that he has no ulterior motives to the things he says. So excited to hear the album - never thought I’d ever say that about a hip hop album.

Well I'm glad yr recording glitched out, because this was great. I don't often watch any video to the very last second, but the authentic and genuine sentiment you shared with regards to Ren's art mirror much of my own thoughts about his work. So, I found myself listening intently while also thinking intently, almost like an imaginary conversation, and then... silence... "Oh damn, the video ended. Hmm I like that guy. He's alright."
