Nice, solid performer from Denon. Only ever owned one amp from Denon, the PMA 250SE and I didn't really give it a chance to see how good it was or not. Mine sounded abit muddy in the highs, perhaps it needed a recap or service.
Denon is good brand in audio world. But their simple amplifiers with PM series (like yours) were the best. But lately they went in the production of AV recivers more than basic amplifiers. Muddy highs are indeed sign of weak electrolytic capicitors after replacing them amplifier will sound excellent. Thanks for support, much appriciated
