For all wondering, she's told to lip sinc by Disney because they want everything to be perfect. In normal concerts not run by Disney she virtually always sings live.
She did sing live during the best of both worlds concert from October 2007 all the way to March 2008.

I cried as soon as I heard "this is the life" even thought I never knew all the words, it was still like very important. This video makes me think of the times my brother and I would watch Hannah Montana on out trips to Florida for hours on end... I guess we all have to grow up at some point.

@@BeaufortRyan no, the vocals are live during the show and Disney took out the live vocals and inserts the studio track instead when they aired the concert later. It’s the same as the recorded concerts that were used during the show. Miley sung live and Disney took out the live vocals and used the studio tracks because they were more polished and perfect

eloise maree the contract said it'd have to stop when she turned 18. then she started to lose her fame so she cut off her hair and started with a whole new character. it got her the fame which is all she really cares about
Emma Arnold False. She didn't do it for the fame factor, she did it because she was over her extensions. She had to wear them for 6 years. She also didn't start to "lose" her fame. She was still doing movies and recording music after Disney.
With the exception of a few like Raven,the High School Musical Cast and others,Disney Channel stars tend to "age out" when they turn 18..Also Disney has a Four season policy where a show does four seasons then ends no matter what..

oh my gosh y’alllllll....yess she’s lip syncing . running around dancing like that will literally make her faint on stage if she were to actually sing live it would sound off key af and she would be panting like crazy . i think i remember reading an article like 13 years ago or something about how she lip synced for her entire ‘Best of Both Worlds’ tour movie show bc of all the running around and dancing and it was basically a cardio workout 😅😅
