@@NatureWitch IRL, muzzle-sweeping anyone you don't intend to shoot is kind of universally considered somewhere between "amateurishly irresponsible" and "actively threatening" by those with experience with guns. - So I'm just good-humoredly pointing out that idea of the "elite military unit" has become a bit of a movie trope and the actors/extras used to portray these soldiers don't necessarily have the basic skills the real units do. :)
@@jasemo388 To be honest it's kinda fair he did that. Special forces/elite troops are highly trained for sure.
They however aren't trained to deal with monsters or things like that 😂. My reason would be he panicked, these units would most likely not be briefed with the base is crawling with freaks in scenarios such as these, inorder to keep confidentiality.
They are still human afterall and when people see things that can't be explained, they start to fear.

It's strange that the experiment was considered a failure because it doesn't make much sense that these supposedly uncontrollable beasts would be just fine with the doctor. Who is disabled and apparently living underground full time. Which means they must be providing him with food because I doubt he had that many supplies to last that long. Especially once he became wheelchair bound.

Remind Me Of How Many movies exist where the military or some corporation makes experiments on humans to make them stronger and deadly but lose control of their experiment which goes on a rampage inside a facility and could possibly cause the a huge of loss of live if it managed to escape.

It could be that in real life,the army might be trying to make an experiment through AI (Artificial Intelligence) so that they can replace humans with robots in order to avoid losing lives in battle fields but such movies are warning them with the possible outcomes

The descent was one of the horror movie that scared the crap out of me... I mean I was hella scared and would always check my house windows and doors every five minutes for weeks before I was able to calm and convince myself "It's just a movie"... That was a terrifying experience 😭😭

I like this kinda stuff but the volume is overwhelming. To decide if this is worth my time to watch, I just see if it has a wikipedia page with a full plot summary. I can read the plot more quickly and gain more detail that way. If it doesn't have a wikipedia page with a plot section, then these videos are totally worth a watch because such a detailed synopsis isn't available elsewhere. This one doesn't even have a wikipedia page, and the summaries available elsewhere are short at best. I love being nerdy about media

Not gonna lie, minus the ex combat vet and military facility, I've been to crazy ass raves like that. Inside national forest areas , been to a 3 day inside a friggin gigantic cave, yes a cave, with fuckin bats like forty feet up flying around in the morning (Murphysboro, IL Shawnee national forest), been to one inside a hangar with part of the rave inside a jet plane, inside a video game arcade where game cabinets were set to free play(ultimate dude night out), or literally on a golf course overnight lol... Went to one at a humongous barn where a dude had a helicopter and so I got to ride around circling the rave... In my 20's & 30's.... But The horror aspect is something that though extremely improbable, could have turned into... because ofc you are not...."crisp"... and ain't making the best decisions. With women around we were all making worst decisions so any one of those nights could've turned into a horror movie... There was this chick I knew who attended this seven day event with me and she disappeared for that entire week and showed up on day seven having no clue that seven days even past, let alone what she did... When you're young you just breathe a sigh of relief and naively laugh it off, not knowing how close that shit could've turned into a horror flick real quick, simply because everyone went home back to life at the end.... But man was it fun! Now I'm hella safe lol... Concerts and festivals are fun, too... But nothing like those old school raves... That was complete and utter freedom to do what tf you wanted and no one tried to hurt other people while having fun at Max levels... It was just love and kickin'it... You LITERALLY just made friends all evening who you'd stay friends with... It's not like a club... But even raves have changed as far as I know... To be young and stupid, like real stupid lol!
