It makes more sense to me and as an old skooler who was also into Golden Era Hip-Hip, Freestyle was something you did to an instrumental HH track and Heartthrob was the genre now known by that title. Im so grateful I lived in the 80s, NYC club the Tunnel used to jam TKA, and so did loud cars in Brooklyn. Miss those times!
