Gorilla Jabali accidentally fell down from high stairs. Mom Tayari kept comforting and holding Jabali. I also observed Jabali for hours, he luckily did not get hurt.

Gorilla mothers are wonderful. Almost all of them know exactly what to do when something happens. Often a big hug is all it takes to comfort the young.
He's probably more scared from the fall than actually being hurt. Tayari was quick to make sure he was OK. She loves her little boy. Jabali was back to exploring as before. he's such a strong little boy💞💞💞
You know, Tayari always runs to Jabali when he needs her. I was very critical of Tayari when Jabali was much younger, but she is a good momma.

天哪！超心疼的😖本以為小J攀爬都蠻小心的，沒想到還是摔了🥺塔媽也嚇到了快去抱起寶貝呼呼，幸好小J看起來沒大礙，希望園方能改善室內安全問題，不然對小猩們來說太危險了😵💫

Providing more straw may help soften the falls that both boys will surely have as they get older & try out their climbing skills. Plus, DJ loves large piles of straw. hehe

That poor little baby fell down far! Although it looks like he was able to handle it. Why are the stairs in there so steep? All that concrete in there makes it a hard environment for them compared to outside!

這樣看著Jabali真的讓人很心疼、希望版主能放上完整版的影片（跌下去的前面）才能知道為什麼跌下去、場地不良、還是單純意外、而不是讓大家胡亂猜測⋯或是有什麼不能放前面影片的原因！？
很抱歉~因當天是星期六,遊客眾多, 無法站在比較優勢的地方拍攝.才剛按下攝影機Jabali就跌倒了. 當時Jabali是頭部往下的方式向下爬, 在加上台階的階距很大, 是比較容易發生意外的
但至少後段半有拍到Tayari滿滿的母愛～～有時都覺得Jabali這麼勇敢冒險有一半也是知道不管怎麼了媽媽下一秒一定立刻出現並把他抱在懷裡（太多視頻）、Jabali真的就是Tayari寵出來的小可愛小霸王！！@@AmazingAnimalbylovelife05

Please tell me the ZOO KEEPER’s x-rayed that poor baby that was a very bad fall for him ,,, he really needs a X-RAY for a minute there it look like he broke his little neck thank God he’s OK but he does need x-rays and I’m hoping that this is you will give them to him and then post that he’s not hurt!!! I’m crying like he’s my baby please x-ray him
Don't worry~ Jabali is fine. It happened two weeks ago. He looked pretty normal recently.

Love Life05 Thank God that Jabali appears to be okay. He’s a tough little 🦍 but those stairs are dangerous for an infant. I have watched this video 3 X and at the very beginning of the video it appears that both females (Iriki is in front of Tayari ) and their babies are huddled together at the top of the stairs. Then it looks to me that a hand moves ( looks like Iriki’s don’t know if she was trying to prevent Jabali from falling or the cause of the fall) and little J goes tumbling down the steps. For my peace of mind and I’m sure other viewers since you were there can you please explain what happened before you uploaded this video. I’m awaiting your response. Thank you.
I have only seen Iriki act like a true aunt only a few times towards Jabali but I don't think she is mean enough to prevent him from climbing up, it did look like in beginning he was maybe already falling from top stairs maybe Iriki was blocking the top with her right hand and did not realize he was climbing up and knocked his hands out the way.
The stairs should be renovated or add extra ropes to suit youngsters
The Taipei Zoo already added some ropes in other side but this area still kept same.

之前我看過小J爬鐵窗的時候，Iriki一直伸手要去把小J拉下來，小J一臉驚恐，是媽媽發現即時趕過來，才沒有可怕的結果。這段被護持Iriki的帳號，硬是給形容成Iriki是看小J爬鐵窗危險想去阻擋牠。但那時Iriki已經常為了小R，摔過和用力拉扯、踩踏過小J很多次，，跡象證明牠有了自己的小孩後，對小J態度大轉變，有種有我小孩就沒有你小孩存在的意味；怎麼可能還會伸手拉小J。
