AU5 is a hero to me , he don't have any problem sharing with us his secrets not like other producers , austin da best .
Eliminate did a video on his remix as well
You are a hero for doing all these walkthroughs and tutorials, A HERO
He truly never meant to take potions, but Austin gotta do what he gotta do...
I really can't believe how much attention you have to little details, seriously it's insane to see every sound getting its own processing, that little zap thing has its own automated automation and all its own process, and the basses, let's not even start with them, they're insane.
Anyways, I'm a producer and you've been my inspiration for a such a long time, those walkthroughs really help me, for inspiration and for some sound design hacks, I'm really thankful for that!
Your songs are amazing, each and every one of them, and this one, in particular, is really special, whenever I think I've heard your best song I'm being wrong, every time you're surprising us with something new and better, I really dig the sort of melodic dubstep genre more than the dubstep one, but somehow you're managing to make them both sound good, I don't know anymore...
But anyways, thank you for so much for your informative tutorials! cheers :)
Your remixes are always better than originals
*cough* EDEN *cough*
28:56 you can see it on his face the way Austin is feeling those vocals in his soul looool
Half of the time I don't even learn anything from these tutorials and walkthroughs cos I just sit here smiling in pure awe of what a genius Austin is. His projects are so simplistic, yet so complicated. So gnarly, yet so beautiful.
LOL SAME. i just sit and nod. his level of sound design using things like stock operator always blows my mind. My cpu wouldnt last for 10% of his layers xD
Thanks For inspiring everytime when I feel low and can't produce... You are a God!!!❤️❤️❤️
The level of meticulous detail is mind-blowing. Seriously, how do you navigate this many little nuances through a song and keep on track? Squirrel!! Its incredible, just incredible.
Love your content, thanks for the walkthrough!
I really love these production videos. They are incredibly helpful.
I hope you keep doing these breakdown videos! They're so densely packed with knowledge.

Thank you for this, Austin! I can't fathom the amount of things I could learn from your course, since this 43 minute walkthrough, is on it's own pretty incredible. Will definitely purchase it someday! :)

I don't normally listen to this kind of music. However I have stumbled across this walk through and I've never seen such intricate production. Truly incredible.
Props!
This was one of my favorites on the remix package. It's such a beautiful way to put the song

This is so beautiful. You have such a good grasp on what you're doing and such a wide breadth of musical knowledge. Even if a lot of this is intuition, you still have something I hope you're very proud of.

I love this guy's production techniques! He definitely deserves a better CPU!!!
I really like your remixes
thank you 😄
Au5 is such a legend
BT!!!! They make beautiful music.
So siiick!!! 👍🔥
What a crazy project file
I feel like my biggest take away here is if you have a sound that you like already, don't try to reinvent the wheel, use it and manipulate it to fit your needs. Working smarter not harder. Really appears to allow you to make your tracks really dynamic without having to focus too much time on recreating sounds that are already aspects of your signature sound. Thank you for your tutorials, very inspirational and educational, and I agree, the original Potions is mixed incredibly well. This is an incredible remix as well. Love your work.
Dude, it's incredible that you use Matt Halperns drums!!
you're awesome
This is my favorite song since Hex Cougar released Burn. Bravo!
Thank you for this :)
Good job, great lessons, nice sound. LIKE!!! )))
That was amazing
btw Wow Harmor in Ableton
I had this hunch that there were some BT vibes in your remix!

Great content Austin, I’ve really been enjoying your project walkthroughs!
13:34 Completely agree, Getyoursnackon is truly a beast when it comes to mixing/mastering.

Impressed that there's only 100 tracks tbh
The reason the original sounds both clean and punchy at the same time is because it is actually much more dynamic than other EDM as you said. I have a level meter reading the audio out of my computer so over spotify I can see that the track isn't being turned down. I am assuming it is mastered to -14 LUFS for this reason. I wish all EDM would follow suit. It's literally such a massive difference.
cool
Nice. :)
Hey Au5 I love your music. Can you do a walkthrough of a classic song like Sweet? That would be sick!
This is absolutely awesome... :O how much time did you spend in this remix?
Thanks! It took me about 1 week
@@au5music can you make tutorial on how to make drone ambient sounds please
love how he plays the drop for a shot snip and says COoaLL 14:04
Your CPU loves you 🥰
I have the same opinion on Space Laces kicks! Can you do a tutorial about how to make like his kicks pleaaaase!
Hey , any chance you could do a walkthrough of Beautiful sky?
holy shit that intro vid though....
you should make a walkthrough of "For You" pleaseeeee
Thanks for the walkthrough Austin, there are so many details that make the sound great. How long did you work on it if you don't mind asking?
1 week
@@au5music can you make tutorial on how to make drone ambient sounds please
i've only seen two people use Morph: one is Au5, to make a voice into chords, and the other is Mick Gordon, to turn a chainsaw into a guitar
That says something
Please do this with "snowblind" such a good song
That intro sounds a lot like the beginning of Infinite Wings's second drop...
How has he made such an incredible song with such little Serum?
"you gotta do what you gotta do" lmao
“He never meant to take potions” lmaooo
Hey Austin. I got your School of Bass Masterclass. It's amazing. I'd like to get your Serum one too (the one you posted on Twitter). But there seems to be no Paypal payment method. Will this be included? Thanks
10:50 damn talk DSP to me homie
Damn, slowly realizing you're a goat when it comes to production. I've been looking at more and more of your videos recently and I find your workflow and plugin choice very intriguing. I got some questions.
1. I notice you use a lot of different synths. Besides Serum (which I assume you use for making filthy dubstep sounds), do any synths you choose in the production process serve a purpose?
2. As someone who ONLY uses Serum, I've had problems with it jacking up my CPU because.. well Serum can be CPU intensive. I notice you layered your future bass with chords with 2 instances of Wavetable and I am assuming it's less CPU intensive. Do you think using a simple plugin like wavetable helps with your workflow?
3. I also notice that you abuse the instrument rack a lot. I've layered my future bass chords with multiple tracks but I knew that takes up a lot of CPU and also .... really stiffens the ebb and flow of producing music. Has the instrument rack helped you in this regard?
Thanks!
to answer your questions:
1. every synth i choose serves a purpose - whether it's because it has a specific preset, has the ability to make a particular sound i'm looking for, or because its something I'm not as familiar with using therefore inspiring creativity.
2. wavetable has a unique unison mode "noise" that serum does not have. its faster to set up and get a good sound from.
3. 1 midi track controlling multiple instruments optimizes navigation and workflow, so yeah it definitely helps me.
@@au5music Thanks for the reply dude!
@@au5music can you make tutorial on how to make drone ambient sounds please
Hi Au5, thanks for the tutorial. Where can I get this Ableton skin?
