It's cool to see Leda making music like this and enjoying himself! I really do wish he was playing his White ESP "Cygnus" here, amazing full tone, killer natural resonance, and that passive L-500 pickup... this .Strandberg 8 kicks ass but the active EMG's are thick/muddy. There is a lot of his playing and tone that get lost in this. But, it's where he wants to go with his sound and performance and that's cool! You cannot buy what Leda possesses... a superb natural affinity and complete understanding of the guitar.
waiting for the small group of people to start arguing if this is Djent or not :p the breakdown/bass solo was definitely somewhat 'Animals As Leaders' inspired. No this song is not Djent but has Djent elements. Leda's playing reminds me a lot of Veil Of Maya's recent album.
+RoseOfHizaki yeah, spot on dude the atmospheric-thingy intro kinda reminds me of 'CAFO' from Animals as Leaders and the instrumental section just before guitar solo were somewhat inspired from 'the woven web' (again from AAL), but the rest of the song were so 'japanese' but you know what, despite of the clear influences of metalcore and prog-metal (or whatever you djent-worshippers may call it) in their new sound, i like it, and i think far east dizain is much better this way, so that they could set themselves apart from other bands in the heavier side of visual kei movement.
I love this song so so much. If you're lucky enough to watch this in a VR headset your mind will be blown. I watched this with the Rift and it's just spectacular. The content and quality is there, very well made.
