To the WSL actual surfing is just "set up work" for the big air or hack where the surfer exaggerates the thing, flailing arms and head around, finishing with the obligatory chest pounding, over the top claim or Superhero landing. Robbo, for instance, was much more fun to watch before he went into the aggro mode necessary to succeed on tour
