@@maxokeef1980 have you ever done valve lash on a 80s gm motor? Takes more time to take out valve cover bolts than it does to adjust the valves. If you have the right tools for the job and know what you're doing it's not a crazy fix 🤷
Fix the lash on lifters on a bronco II, you'll get quick at fixing lash and bonus, you'll learn how a pipe wrench works how to talk people into buying a turd.

Polk used to have a box with 4 6x9s in iso pairs and I bought a crx that had them on a ppi art series amp and it was pretty loud. Even more so than you could imagine.

That's old school !!! When I came up that's all we knew about was 6×9's !!! We had the old school Pioneer Ts 6909 and 6907 white paper cone speakers !!!!! We put as many in the car as we could !!!!! We powered the 6×9's with a Sherwood 180 or 240 amp , Pyramid Pb 300 ,or we went to Radio Shack and got a Realistic amp !!!!!! That's old school baby !!!!! We didn't know about subwoofers back then !!!
Believe it or not, Radio Shack used to carry a pretty decent amp in the mid 90's, was the Optimus brand amps. My first amp ever was a 300 watt Optimus pushing 2 MTX 12's and it actually pushed them fairly hard for what it was. I remember we tried to fry it at one point, bridged it down to 1 ohm, thinking there is no way it could handle 1 ohm and somehow it did😅

Wow! I had a much smaller version of this back in 1993, in the back of my pumkin orange VW Squareback type II! I had two relatively inexpensive($90 pair) Blaupunkt & two much more expensive Clarions(&310 pair), mounted in boxea I made to spec at the highest recommended square footage of airspace, with the Blaupunkts run by a 360 watt Power Logic, & the Clarions run by a Linear Power 100w two channel, & Altec Lansing 1"s, 3 1/2"s, & 5"s run off the power of a Clarion Deck with 6 disc changer. Those Blaupunkts bunped like 10"s! People seriously wouldn't even believe me that I only had 6×9"s until I showed them what I had going- it was the box I built. Later, I added a pair of the greatest paper cone woofers ever created om God's green earth- 12" MTX Blue Road Thunders, & eventually a single 15" JLA W4 with a Fosgate 200ix dumped mono into it alone, now THAT bumped! EDIT- Oh, yeah! How could I forget? I had a pair of 15" Kicker Comps for several years before the 6×9s- but after they got jacked I just didn't want subwoofers again for a couple years(well, seems like a couple years back then, it was actually more like four months I only had the 6×9"s... ah, to be 17-19 yrs. old again, when you lived lifetimes every three months!) after that- too many jackers around,.& I hated being put in a position of having to hunt down the culprits & ixnay their punk assess & force them to leave town...let's just say I got my kickers back at some point, but it was an ugly repo that could have landed me in prison for a very long time... f'n A, I was a badass, HAHA! But I was a hustler, & I didn't jack or steal from people, so I took it extremely hard if someone took mine.

I had one of those JL W4's in the back of a 1st gen RX7 with Alpine 6" midrange rear components,2 1" tweeters and 5 1/4" door mids all pushed by an Alpine V12 1000w amp w/ Phoenix Gold crossover,clear topped and another V12 running 1ohm,mono to the sub, wrapped up in a sealed , custom box. Oh yeah, I also lucked into this Alpine EQ that I mounted inside the driver's side visor,it was detachable, digital with a good amount of color choices and settings/modes. Alpine head unit too. If you can't tell, I was working in a store where I sold Alpine products. Lol

It was only like $150, & it was far & away the best you could get at the time without spending a LOT more money.. in fact I even bought a much more expensive one at some point, & then went back to the cheaper one.. I ALMOST wanna say it was an MTX, but then I'm thinking maybe they didn't make crossovers? I almost bought a pair of 12" yellow MTX woofers in one of those old, carpeted, cheapo store boxes, not long ago that they had at a garage sale.
