Great! I began by copying drawings for a bit. Now I love to do abstract line drawings of flowers and then I go on to watercolor. Sometimes they are quite nice and I’m amazed. Many times they go in the recycle bin (bookmarks, etc.), but they are always a blast. When I began, I couldn’t draw stick figures! Thanks for the encouragement.
I loved this. I tried it on a round piece of watercolor paper. Made my watercolor flower a little too big - but then I just added a few extra layers of leaves...it looks so cool. The reverse watercolour idea is awesome. Thank you for sharing this....

Peonies are my absolute favorite to paint! I have not yet done one in watercolor though. I am definitely going to try this with my mom. We are planning a 3 week visit together and we will be painting!
There is something just absolutely so beautiful about peonies. How fun that you and your mom get to spend 3 weeks together and that you're going to set aside painting time. We hope you have the best time painting this project together. Definitely let us know how it turns out for you both!!

Thanks so much for your channel and tutorials, have been enjoying them. Can you suggest what type of light pad? Or at least what features you find to be most helpful? Things such as size, lumens, type of ruler lines, etc? I know I truly only need something basic, but always fun to have toys with a few bells and whistles. Thanks in advance fore your 2-cents on the matter.
You make painting so great, what ever comes out its so pretty. love watching you paint you are so real. Can you put a light back ground colors on the painting?
We're so grateful we have the opportunity to create along with you! You could totally add a background color to this painting. Experiment with how it turns out, how fun!
If you use a watercolor pencil in the peachy pink shade to make the placement lines, they will dissolve when you paint the wash. Keep them soft. If you press hard you will dent the paper and pigment may collect in the mark.
Keenen nailed it about "The show must go on. This term is a theatrical credo dating from the nineteenth century, although the idea is much older (Shakespeare used it in Henry IV, Part 1, 2.4: “Play out the play”).

What light box do you recommend? What brand and wattage of lights please? I’m from Canada…

This is a really pretty flower!! 🌺 Are your liquid watercolors thicker than Dr PH Martin's? Thank you. 💖
Isn't this floral that Sarah brought to life just absolutely gorgeous!!🤩
The Dandelion Co. paints are comparable to Dr. PH Martin in thickness.
Do it Keenan!
Helps o tape drawing on light board first and put painting on it then.
I really want to make this project but the link to the outline seems to be broken 😭
