Thank you! I'm new to watercolor and this was my first try at following a landscape tutorial. It turned out amazing! 1/4 size though. I do "rough drafts." Idk, it just gets me over that fear of starting. Like, oh, this is only a rough draft to get an idea of what I'll really do. Then I can dive right in. Anyway, I love your videos, I think your personality is so encouraging and calming. I really appreciate it. I'm excited to try some more.

It's highly unlikely that any unfortunate souls living on the farm survived the hideous storm I just painted. Funny how some of the projects that I think will be challenging go beautifully and others, well . . . this was the first time I actually tossed the paper after doing the sky to start again. So I'm not mad about it, but I'm certainly not crazy about it. :)

I don't have a "wash 1" brush to do this technique, but I have a mop brush that I use for my washes. Will the mop brush work? It's not as crisp edged as the brush that you are showing to use.
Yes, you can totally use a mop brush! You'll just want to make sure your brush is totally dry. We hope you have the best time working on this project. Happy painting!
I totally saw Keena's house silhouette for the accidental trees before I saw them as trees! Does this mean I am thinking like Keenan now? Its late here in Colorado. I suppose anything is possible!

I tried mine with super vision granulating colors, and they created some of the coolest effects.
i’ve watched this 5 times and will paint tomorrow! instead if a field i’m going to paint a desert… should be great fun! thank you sarah!! 🌸
