DMS 325C. Stagecoach wagon towing Mackies of Alloa Willowbrook

DMS 325C , Grant Moores Ex Stagecoach Leyland Leopard recovery truck takes an ex Mackies of Alloa Willowbrook bodied Leyland Leopard from GVVT premises in Glasgow to SVBM in Dunfermline. The Willowbrook had suffered engine failure at Glasgow and was taken for an engine swap. This video picks up the tow truck on the old Kincardine bridge road before heading up through Forrestmill to Kinross. Then down the motorway to the slip road at Kelty and on to Lathalmon, as you do . A long way for a short cut but it was a good evening and were out for a bit of a play. The crew for this tow were Alan T in the wagon and Grant following closely behind in the disabled Willowbrook. The Willowbrook was later be sold on .

Used to love seeing the recovery buses. Rare sight now. Last one I saw working was in North East England about 3 years back in arriva colours
