He had a bad injury issues that he opted not to play for how many games. When he came back, things wasn't the same anymore even on his own team GlobalPort. Even now, I don't think he's the same player that he used to be. I missed his fiery 3points really. I believe his confidence will be back in no time. But yes, he don't have a space at the national team anymore as the young guns are also good and he's not getting any younger. Sayang talaga. I miss seeing him on Gilas jersey.
But I do think when it's world cup already they should make space for Romeo and Fajardo. Romeo's dancing prowess is really incredible and Fajardo's game intelligence is superb. Romeo's "kapal ng mukha sa court" can really make our team's success. Those young guns needed a Kuya inside the court. We'll not always be as lucky as how we beat Korea few days ago. We need veteren moves like this of Terrence Romeo.
Is there politics, envy etc in Phil basketball? After chot was replaced as coach of Gilas romeo is no longer included in our national team! Like him paras was also not given preference in latest Gilas squad. Remember shin Dong Pa and genobile they are the epicenter of there teams offense or the offense are built around them.
