Hay, Can I ask you something? How does the radio guy know the PLC raw value is from 6500 to 32k for that level sensor range? If we don't know, could we just give the 4-20mA from 789 and find out the min & max raw data range for that level sensor? Or Have to find that PLC manual for analog card raw data? Or is there another way?
That's the standard range for an analog input converted to a signed 16-bit integer. Some PLCs and equipment use different values, but the PLCs we use all utilize a signed 16-bit integer with a range of 0-32k.
Very interesting seeing troubleshooting in real time.
Awesome! Very enjoyable.
Would definitely love to see more of these videos! very informative
Excellent ! Thanks for the training
Great video! Super informative nice to see real life issues!
Awesome, thank you for sharing very informative!
The wiring is busch league, install some Panduit and clean it up so it looks professional.
Welcome to the industrial world
Where can I get those very useful equations like the one you used 15 ÷ 2.31 ) like is there any books or anything like that?
That equation is "feet of head (elevation) to PSI"
Google.com and RUclips videos 😜
My millwright brain can barely process this but very interesting!

Will the 789 meter generate 12 volts on a 12 volt system, such as a vehicle or only good for the 24 volt systems?
It's built in power supply is only for sourcing 24vdc loop power for 0-24ma current circuits. It can also sink using an external power supply.
