Impressive though it is to watch toolbox tours featuring massive Epiq Mr Big boxes, with hutches, side lockers, light and sound systems etc., it's nice to see a bit of vintage tooling that is still used and well looked after. I definitely agree about buying good quality drill bits...I have reasonable quality ones that I use everyday, but for those instances where you need to drill a precise, dead-accurate hole in something important, I have a set of USA made drills by the Precision Twist Drill Co. They cost me £115 about 30 years ago ( a hell of a lot of loot for a drill set)...but I have not broken or even dulled one of them in all that time!
I do the same thing with my 1/2” sockets, 12pt chrome and 6 pt impacts. I’ve got 6 and 12 in 3/8” and 1/4” chrome. But only 6 pt in 3/8” impacts. I don’t really want to have to buy both in every drive and I’ve never really had anything they I haven’t been able to take apart 🤘🏼
I am interesting in knowing what letter variant your boxes are and are they both 567s? 567 was the 557 but with roller slides instead of friction slides. If you're really interested in knowing call Snap-on corporate and they can tell you at least to within a few years. My 557 variant E. was made in the mid-80s i believe. My krl 661 was made from 94. Till early 2000s predecessor to the krl 722
Take a look at Koken for sockets, ratchets & related... they put out excellent stuff! Note they sell individuals as well as sets, and ship for free to the US with no minimum; so you can order up a sampling of your most used for a 'test drive'. Cool videos, Thanks!
I really like your whole setup! Nice work bench too, did you have that steel bench top made? l like how it curves up in the back and down in the front, kind of like a transmission re-building table top.

Thanks for watching!
Where do you get the signet stuff in canada especially the wobbles?
Local tool suppliers that sell the signet line. Fastenal is one example
Where did you get the metal trays where you store your extensions?
They are aluminum drip trays for ice cubes from an old fridge.

I’ll second that! Most of my stuff is Snap On, but lately I’ve been buying a lot of KOKEN Japan. Amazing quality!
I also prefer the older Snap On tool boxes, the steel is a lot stronger.
Top top
When I went to the factory they told me they pronounced it Ken a pex
Nice setup!

Yes I had it braked at a big shop for me. 2” front and back.
Actually the K is pronounced in knipex. Its a German company. Cant believe people are still debating this lol.
The people at their booths at tool shows pronounce the K. Since I heard them do it, I do too now. 😂
