My favorite part of the fight is when derrick james got onto Ryan after the 11th round because Ryan was getting super cocky and derrick james made him snap out quick and was yelling at him it ain’t over that made derrick james one of my favorite trainers all respect to him 🙏🏽

I'm glad I just found his podcast! I met Shawn Porter In Arlington at Texas Live next to the Texas Rangers stadium The Weekend before he fought Errol Spence, and I always been a Shawn Porter fan because he would fight literally everyone and always puts on a show win or lose. But I also realized that Shawn Porter is a HUMBLE MAN in person, he was at the Event signing autographs and taking pictures with everyone, and Errol Spence never came out and Errols from Dallas. Lol.

man Dj had that gameplan for a diversion down to a Tee. not only Haney's plan to push the fight later and looking off, but you could see Ryan adjusted when he stopped pushing but guarding and letting him come. Devin didn't know what was coming next whether it's the left, right hook, straight right or body. a lot to work on if the focus is there, but it would be an interesting rematch.
That was an amazing explanation of the fight. WOW . Strategy for life. Distraction is key

Ryan was just Haney's worst matchup. Haney's core jab fundamentals or lack there of (bow and arrow jab) lead right into the strength of Ryan Garcia which is his lead check hook. Looking forward to seeing what Ryan can do when he moves up. Real 50/50 to me as of right now.

If it wasn't for the knockdowns Ryan would have lost. Much closer fight watching it the second time without adrenaline.
If IF was a fifth, we’d all be drunk. Haney never did anything big in the fight. He was winning rounds where Ryan did nothing. It wasn’t really back and forth like that. Ryan fought in spots and every spot he chose he was whooping Haney. Point wise technically it was close, but as an actual fight, nobody on Earth said that was close.
@@wonderboytroy7484 I get what you're saying, but aside from the first round, Ryan didn't do much until like the tenth round. It was a pretty boring fight once you watch it a second time. It's like Haney intentionally disobeyed all reason in that fight by dropping his defense.
