Wow, it seems to work really well. No slower to react than a conventional "hard-wired" AP. The only thing that puts me off a little is the modes being so buried in those menus, all controlled with the one red knob. They should look to sell a separate control module that links to the SuperECO, that has the conventional mode buttons for HDG, NAV, ALT, VS, IAS, etc. I bet this wouldn't cost a lot as it'd be simply a control interface. Would really move it up to the next level.
A big HELLO from CYQT. 🇨🇦. Awesome video THANK YOU FOR SHARING your experience with the ECO AP.😊. Considering the Super ECO AP for my Avid Magnum. Also enjoyed your unboxing video.
I have one AV-30 and was going to put in a second one, but after stumbling across this SuperECO I just might do what you have and have an auto-pilot too. You don't find that the SuperECO need a trim tab on the rudder as well? The two trim tabs work just fine to find straight and level flight? Thanks.
My plane doesn’t require rudder trim for 99% of cruise flight. Every once in a while I may need to apply slight pressure due to a certain cross wind, but I have not found that to be a burden at all. I have installed a second AV30+AVLink so I could have Heading+traffic right in my primary scan. Every plane is different.

Glad you enjoyed them! I am finishing up the installation video as well - look for that shortly.
Hi, How does the ECO's magnetic heading work at that distance from your AV-30?
The heading seems rock solid. The SuperECO has its own GPS antennae.
The heading would be GOS track not magnetic.
I noted the eco shows the same indicated airspeed as the av30. How does it do this using only gps?
Both instruments are using the pitot/static lines in the airplane, so they should read the same indicated airspeed. Thanks for watching!

Can you contact me about this auto pilot?
Where is the installation video?
It is coming. Oshkosh interrupted my editing. I hope to publish in a few weeks.
