    I don’t have a problem with the pricing. But I do have a problem with the timing; it’s far too early for this change.
    The Polaris was never a money maker, it was always a economy protector. A patrol vessel, keeping other orgs or NPC threats from attacking and destroying your money making industrial complexes.Therefore, the best defense, system-level defense ships, would sensibly be the most expensive to maintain. But they need to WORK!

      @@x3n0v1s I unfortunately have to agree with others here. They *are* playing it, but with a different mindset than the average player. They do this all the time.
    They implement something not in the pipeline and when it inevitably causes needless drama they "fix" it. Until this game (if ever) is released all this balancing is necessary and unfortunately for all of us (Evo or not) we're virtual guinea pigs until everything get's ironed out. So just like the whole QT fuel debacle let's just wait and see what CIG says. If there were very few bugs and you couldn't lose your ship for no reason then I see no issues with capital ship ordinance being costly. o7

  • @snarkylive
    @snarkylive 14 дней назад +2

    Should be 120k for S9, 240k for S10, reclaims should come with the exact torps it had when destroyed. Ships lost through bugs should be free reclaim; they should KNOW when a ship was destroyed by something other than a player or an impact. Missions should be increased payout by 2x-5x. The nerf coming RIGHT after IAE, when they were selling them, is like the sleaziest scammiest looking shit they could have possibly done. I feel bad for anyone who bought it, they should seek a refund or do a chargeback if it is their only ship and they are tired of this stuff.
    That said, I have had a Polaris since their initial offering, I don't find it to be a particularly interesting ship. I personally do not care if my specific Polaris has torps or not, cause at most if I use it, mine is just a mothership for smaller exploration ships. I get more annoyed by loading vehicles and equipment into it, and losing all my stuff I spent time loading to a stupid bug like an undocking error.

Learn how to make your own money in the game and buy your own torps. All these same issues of losing your “cargo” have existed for cargo pilots for years. Polaris owners dumping their load of Torps on everyone else in a server and then just claiming their ship for a full reload is Bullshit. Stop thinking of the Polaris as a money making ship for ERTs or VRTs. It’s not. Or start finding orgs that need their large industry ships escorted. I 100% applaud this change.

    Torpedos and missiles SHOULD be expensive. Not THIS expensive but expensive enough that you don't just want to lob them at just any enemy. They also, have literally said in the past that ships will not spawn (after a claim) with missiles and torpedoes in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if ships only spawn with base hulls. The fact people can do an insurance claim to dupe weapons, torps, and missiles is ridiculous. We all knew this was coming. People just pissed they paid to win and the rug was pulled out from under them sooner rather than later.
    Stop buying multi crew ships just for a pay to win advantage. I'm glad they implemented this. It's about time. I have a Polaris and an Eclipse, and a Tali. Wait till you see the armor prices shooting up in the future.
