- One of the state's key witnesses took the stand Friday. Jaivon Abron, one of Demarcus Little's friends who Little allegedly confessed to, described what Little told him. He says Little told him he was professing his love for Anitra when she laughed, so he blacked out, hit her, and began choking her. Little says eventually Gunn stopped fighting, so he felt like she wanted to go home to her deceased mother.
Some would call him a snitch, but he’s smart and brought justice to this woman 🙏🏽

I hate that this young man was blindsided in this murder. Folks judging him but he had every right to be scared and he was probably high/intoxicated too. I’m so proud of this young man. I know he lied at first but he was trying to be a loyal friend and of course I know he was scared what this coward was goin to do to him or have done to him . Deep down Demarcus knew he did it. Even if the friend didn't testify the evidence is overwhelming and Anitra told her friends about his behavior so they would have told the police to look at him.

@@tamekasanders2958 he still has a trial pending. The prosecution has said they promised him no deal for his testimony. They might offer him a deal once they get a conviction in this case, but none of that has happened yet.

I'm glad he's speaking out but if they were trying to come after me and not offer a deal especially if I was forced to get in the car and drive there with him. I wouldn't help them out at all. I would tell the family what happened and that's it. These prosecutors just like wasting people's lives with long sentences as if he had a choice to be there or not. He was obviously too scared to talk. I bet he didn't even have the same relationship afterwards.

She went on camera and lied to provide an alibi for him claiming that he was with them the entire night and could not have killed her or dumped her body.... The sickening part of it was that poor child had been lying out there exposed to the elements for about a day or two at that point and here this chick is on the camera laughing about it.

I kinda agree that he wasn’t as scared as he making it seem like he was because when he gave written statements he lied twice!!! His first time coming out about everything and telling the TRUTH is when he testified! It’s cool to be scared in that moment but as soon as I got home and away from him I would’ve went to the police and gave them all of that information. It’s one thing to be scared in that moment when you’re together and he’s forcing your hand to make you help him but after that there’s no excuses. I’m just happy that he came forward with the truth

He may have been terrified, but the fact that he didn't immediately notify police after he got away from him makes him guilty of misprision of a felony, period. He is definitely an accessory after the fact to the murder as well, to what extent to be determined in his trial.
His forthrightness and apparent contrition in these proceedings should be taken into account in his case.
This young man is innocent he didn’t commit a murder. He was forced into a crime scene and you feel he should get prison time and ruin his life? If only you were in his shoes.

He will be tried as an accessory after the fact to the young lady's murder. Like it or not, we have a natural duty under God's law and a legal duty under man's statutes to report a serious crime, especially a murder.
He concealed and failed to willfully report the material and factual knowledge that he gave to detectives and in testimony.
If he had gone to the police of his own accord, he would just be a witness and not an accomplice.
Friends don't ask you to take a fall for their sadistic crimes. DeMarcus Little ceased to be his friend when he brought him to the scene of a crime.
The "no snitching" culture in our community is destructive, it has ruined our sense of justice.
He will likely do time, being scared after he left from the murderer is not a legal or lawful excuse. He didn't do the right thing. Hopefully his testimony and cooperation here will get him a lighter sentence.
We should fight against our weaker nature (fears) and strive to do the right thing. Lord knows I don't want to see this young man's life ruined. I pray that he is strengthened by this situation. 🙏🏾💪🏾

the bumper fell off as he was driving her car into the woods with her body in it. he was scared if people found the bumper it would alert them to finding her body or her being missing so he wanted to stuff it in the car to get over all evidence
