This video is useful for installing after market* rear upper control arms that are ADJUSTABLE. Why would you need adjustable rear upper control arms you may ask? Because the early model S is known to have a problem with uneven wear on the rear tires -- specifically wearing far more on the inside than the outside. Apparently, that alignment set up was designed into the car to improve cornering at the expense of even rear tire wear. There are at least four (4) companies that produce after market adjustable rear upper control arms for the Tesla Model S: n2itive; Maxboost; Unplugged Performance; and Hardrace Q0601. *Important Note -- Tesla will not install these after market products, and if you do have them installed by others it may void your Tesla warranty. My car is already out of warranty so this is not an issue for me.
