IT was a joy to watch! Thanks for the ride! See you on sunday!

Hi Denis 60 hours was a long stint. Back in the 80's the longest stint i done started at 4am on friday morning and we finished at 7pm on Monday evening. I worked at road construction at the time and we were workin at a motorway so it had to be done. Thanks for sharing your whole farming experience and great work from the whole family....cheers

I always get excited when harvest starts, sad when it ends, but always grateful for all the work our farmers do!
I always say, if farmers ran the govt they’d work til the work got done, used what they had to make it work & try to save money when they can & make sure the ppl were taken care of. Senator Chuck Grassley’s a farmer. Point made.

It wasn’t negative. It was something like 100+ acres a day was a big combining day for them, Dennis can combine a lot more acres a day but their operation can’t keep up with that. Brian’s comment wasn’t negative.

@@iversfarmsReese be warned Brian and his dad and brother use God’s name in vain quite a lot. I unsubscribed his channel because he said there’s nothing wrong with doing so because his family has always cursed like sailors also he claimed he was saved and still he thinks it’s OK to use God’s name in such a manner and I find that unacceptable so I could no longer support his channel.

I believe it. I’ve heard similar stories. Farmer up here had a small dairy. Chopped 70 acres of corn with a single row chopper. Milk cows, chop corn, milk in the afternoon, then chop all night till it was time to milk again. Pushed like that till the corn was done.

Ya gotta rip to break that compaction up or your gonna start having bad crops cause the roots can't spread out and up take the nutrients it needs cause the compaction is so bad. That's something the no till farmers need to learn. Its just ripping.
