When you say that a married couple has been trading licks and then you watch Derek and Susan do it you get a whole new meaning. 😮 They’ve gotten so good at their guitar exchanges and interplays.
I feel like I'm listening to an older and more mature Duane Allman when I listen to Derek's slide playing. It's hard to believe that the ABB could ever exist in a version where I could listen and not miss Duane's slide playing, but Derek and Warren made it happen (for me at least) for that last 15 years of the ABB.
Became a fan of Susan when I first saw her perform solo back in 2007, and then saw Tedeschi Trucks about 18 months ago. One of the best live performances of anyone I've ever seen. This band is so tight; the musicianship is impeccable. Saw Derek with TABB in 2005 and, of course, he's amazing,
I do 😂😂😂 and he and this incredible band help me make it through many painful nights, most nights and yet I would give anything to be able one day TO feel the air moving from this AWESOME BAND, IT IS MY ONLY SELFISH WISH I HAVE EVER HAD, TO BE AT THEIR UPCOMING PERFORMANCES EVERY NIGHT HERE IN MY BEAUTIFUL RED ROCKS CO, BUT I HAVE FAITH THAT IN 2025 , they finally will have this crushed spine ready then ,until the day I will humbly be there feeling everything I want to express my gratitude to all of you people who post your beautiful experience here and I am positive that I don’t miss any thanks for sharing , I truly am grateful 🎼🎶🎵🙏🙏🙏
From a long time Duane, Greg, and Dickey fan: “This fucking blows my mind. The guy is a phenom’s phenom. And Susan blew me away w/her solo. Sends shivers up my spine into the back of my head like I died and went to heaven.”
I love Gregg, I’ve read his book, seen him live more times then I can remember, and I still often misspell his name. That second G is hard for some to remember. Don’t fret about it.
i love the covers as much as the originals almost. But they pick some great great ones for Derek's singular swamp raga sound. So unique and his mastery of the slide is beyond the praise and love he got/gets from Eric and BB. This is a great time to be alive streaming and watching TTB! I wont mention his amazing wife whom must practice hard and with the worlds greatest around those two must wood shed whenever they possibly can. Prolific!
Blown away. TTB just keeps aging like fine wine !!!!

Saw them twice in Portland Oregon last week... Get both shows uploaded
Magical band playing one of the greatest blues songs of the modern era. Rock it out boys and girls 🎉
One of the hardest working bands in show business.
I could listen to Derick play that slide all day!

Have to look 👀 to see it’s Derek! Sounds so much like Duane! My favorite guitarist’ Derek is #2! Susan good herself!
Never forget Susan can really play guitar as well as belt out the blues .
He’s such an awesome player. And together with his wife and the band they’re keeping southern rock alive.
