Adaora knows what she wants…sometimes you just go to a place you resonate with. Some things can not be put into words. I think she fits in very perfect in SA. South Africa is diverse so who ever you are you’ll find your place or people in it. I hope Jay can travel outside the big cities of South Africa so he can see or experience the deep cultural side of South Africa. I really like Adaora’s energy she looks like a great person to chill with.

  • @stephenogbuabia2293

Ada ora is Igbo name. The way she says her name makes it sound anglicized. Ada in Igbo is daughter ora means, 'for all' Adaora, (not Adora) therefore, means a daughter for all. It is an endearing name meant to make a baby girl the dearling of all members of her community. Literally, Adaora means a daughter of all.

Yes, it’s all about mindset; the Europeans don’t feel inadequate when they are in an obvious environment where they are the minority so why should you feel any other way, the only issue is that people of African descent or those with darker shade of skin color are too caught up in this “label” their “body” and unconsciously take on the race-mind concepts that depicts that body as “less than” and if you do not make a conscious and deliberate effort to recognize that you move in an “ocean” of “stupidity” you would dance to that “tune” of that race-mind concepts and ideology and be buffeted here and there.
It’s all about recognition of “Self” and building that inner self-confidence and the environment you find yourself would gravitate and perceive that inner contemplation, a “bully” is nothing more than an untrained dog that can smell “fear” from afar off and would latch at that one operating from that place of: “I am not wanted”, “I am nothing more than this skin color” etc. Know thySelf.

While I agree with some of what you said…I would like to add that European/White people don’t feel inadequate because many of them live in a society where they are the majority or the society has representation of them everywhere. But not just Europeans, Africans as well tend to feel adequate anywhere because they live in a society where the representation reflects them. It’s definitely mindset and yes it’s deeper than race but there are layers to self-love.

because I've been around enough Russian accents to understand their dialect.
    it's there.

that's why it doesn't sound authentically Russian accent. but that's definitely a Russian accent.

There are many layers to this. When us African men or black Americans go around the world making babies and not taking responsibility there are consequences.
My assumption is the white family figured if your father is not around then screw your Nigerian culture. There is too many stories of some of us African men who just help make babies and run away. I see the same behavior in the US too. Brothers, we have to do better. This young girl may be finding herself, how about the rest of these kids scattered around Europe. Bravo to this strong young lady.

@@fistandpen2505 I agree with you. That was precisely my point. People are quick to point fingers without interrogating the root of the problem.
I am Zimbabwean and I know for a fact black men in general have a bad reputation of easily abandoning kids and that is not a good look. Unfortunately that leads to stereotypes which is sad as the majority of black men are good guys.
