THE BEST JAPANESE FLEA MARKET IN TOKYO TO FIND AMAZING ITEMS

- In this video, we are heading back to Tokyo city flea market, also named Ohi Racecourse market Tokyo. Unfortunately, at the moment, most flea markets in Japan are canceled due to corona or some of them are a bit underwhelming. In Japan, most people sell their stuff directly to established thrift stores such as Hard Off, Book Off or Mandarake.
Despite the heat and the lack of sellers, I managed to find some very interesting Japanese items. This market is by far the most consistent and popular in Tokyo. Also, In Japan bargaining is not very common, but give it a go.

Hahah nice! Yeah, I was surprised to see some comics in English too.
So bizarre seeing so many old games/systems and no one really caring. Retro game collecting is pretty popular in the US right now, and anyone selling that quality of stuff and at that pricing, it would all be bought up immediately.
And some super famicom games can sell pretty well in the US too! Pretty much keep an eye out for games that require little or no japanese language knowledge to play like Psycho Dream, Parodius, Pocky and Rocky, pretty much any beat'em up, etc
Yeah, it's kinda strange for sure.
For the super famicom, sometimes the games are dirt cheap, but I don't if they actually work. Most of the game covers are usually a bit banged up. But you are right, keeping an eye out on games that require no Japanese is essential for selling them in the US or Europe.

Thanks a bunch! The market is called ''Tokyo city flea market'' and it's open from 9:30am-2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. It's on the east side of Tokyo, very close to Haneda airport.

Thanks a bunch man! Unfortunately, you won't find a lot trading cards in flea markets. You should go to thrift stores like "Hard off or Hobbies off" - you will have more chances to find some there.

Do you see a lot of pokemon cards at flea markets in Japan?
To be honest, not that often. Most people go to established thrift stores to sell them.
I will definitely include them in my videos if I encounter Pokémon cards in the future.

It happens every weekend :) Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm :)
Yes, there are other markets in Tokyo, but this one is definitely the most popular.
