This is really an amazing watch, I have been using it day and night without any issue, I live in the frontier between Austria and Germany, I'm a hunter, and it's pretty cold and rainy around here like, 24/7... and it never let me down, and for the price ? Guys, this is a no-brainer!
You really can't beat it for the price. And if it does break, you can buy another for less than a movie ticket and a popcorn. LOL
I like your perspective on these inexpensive time pieces. I have the w218 in all black. It's my daily beater watch. Like most people I have some expensive pieces and some cheaper ones, some new and some vintage but they all do one thing. Tell time.
I like the all black one alot. I was gonna get one but already have an all black basic $35 G-Shock. But I'll probably get one anyway at some point because I have a serious watch shopping problem. Thanks for your comment and please subscribe if you haven't already.

My favorite Casio is the classic 5600.... I also have the 9052....the w-736h.... and of course the 218 H that you are showing
That's another thing.... I was considering getting a smart watch at one point, and then I thought to myself.... what do I really need that for?..... that's why I have an iPhone.... I don't need a watch to answer calls.... or texts.... or take pictures.... it's a waste of money in my opinion..... I don't even use the functions of my G-Shock.... all I use it for is to tell me the time when I want to know it
I think the 5600 is the most underated watch ever. I have to agree with you on budget Casios. It tells time, takes a beating and looks cool. What else to you need. I do have more expensive watches but I catch myself wearing my G-Shock, Duro and my 218H alot more than anything else. Thanks for watching and commenting.
On the smart watch thing. I can see some of the benefits of having one. Sometimes I'm in meetings and I'll set my smartwatch to notify me of my next appointment. So I set it to vibrate that way no one hears it and I can start to cut my sales pitch or what ever the heck I'm talking about short. Plus I like to leave my phone at home and go for a walk and have my music.

I'm sorry but to me spending more than even $200 on any watch is insane.... unless the watch is spitting out gold bars, then I would not spend even more than $100 on any watch.... what's the point?.... so I can brag??.... I just want the watch to do one simple thing that it's meant to do.... tell me the time!!!...period.... I don't need something overly gaudy.... full of diamonds.... or solid gold.... just want some thing that looks sharp.... has basic functions.... and gives me the time of day..... Casio gives me all of that... and without taking a second mortgage out to buy a watch

the strap with these W-218 is longer than a G-shock 5600 so fits better on larger wrists....
