Just picked up an M1 Pro MacBook Pro refurbished. 16gb ram and the laptop only endured 4 cycles. $1500 well spent considering a similarly specced computer from Apple will run you close to $3,000.
It would be better to compare the M2 MacBook Pro 13" to the M1 Air since you can find M2 MBP models for the same price as M1 models on many used websites
Nice video right on time I was looking specifically just for this
same lol
You have no idea how ive been looking for such a video….you earned a sub 👊
Thank you for this comparative that I actually just needed !
Very informative, but which is more worth it between the MBA M2 and the MBA M1 Pro 13 in 2024?
I think it all comes down to what design you like more and how much you’re willing to spend.

@@thomasandersr sorry, I was a little off. $2,699 is the price for a brand new m3 Mac Pro 16 inch with 18gb ram. Still is 66% more than what I spent.
@@thomasandersr oh, and 1tb ssd
Thank you, these look like the best budget back to school laptop going for around $650, Price difference today is negligible so I’m going with the Pro
Nice video! Would you recommend the M1 Air 16GB or the M1 Pro 8GB?
If you have a lot of applications open or professional apps I would say the m1 air with 16Gb of ram.
@@TerrysTechTips Thank you!
Sometimes you can find the m1 macbook pro for just a little bit more than the m1 macbook air.

How is it a 2024 comparison when both are discontinued permanently?
You can buy them used or for discount from 3rd party retailers.
It compares how they hold up in 2024.
