Yeah, that works. However, you are not solving the main issue. Why is that appearing on your dwg? The exclamation mark is telling you that your dimenssions are not associated with anything, basically they are just text enclosed with arrow (for some reason). I dont know the answer either, but Ill find out soon.

With some experimentation I found that I would get these if the dimension wasn't associated with an object or WAS associated with/connected to a leader-line or node on another dimension. Irritating as dimensions are frequently measuring from the same point, so it's unavoidable. Might be a case where you accidentally change a value while working. There's so many keyboard shortcuts, it's possible.

@@d.l.claxton9421 I figured it out! If a dimension is associated with an object or not associated with an object depends on how you place your dimension. Lets say you draw a line and want to dimension it. If you select the OBJECT (click directly on the line once) then the dimension will be associative. If you click the ENDPOINTS (two clicks) then the dimension is not associated to an object and will only report the distance between the two locations you clicked. The ANNOMONITOR variable (the "plus" shaped button in the status bar) just shows you which dimensions are associated with objects.
