Internal grinder indicator holder Solving the problem with sturdy surface to mount the indicator Indicating the part in the 4 jaw chuck ray gallant stuconestogacon-my.sharepoint...
Another great idea to help improve life in the shop. Very practical and useful tool that makes the cylindrical grinder easier to setup for apprentices while still providing the required learning outcome. Excellent as always Ray!
Looks great. The only minor improvement I was going to suggest was to recess the nut for the indicator arm, but it looks like you already did that. I'm guessing the version in the cover picture was an earlier revision. I don't have an internal grinder, but there are lots of good ideas worth noting in your design. The nylon set screw is a nice touch.

Could you also make your SolidWorks CAD files available to us? I don't have a 3D printer available, but could learn from the CAD files.
The link for the files states it has expired. Is there another link to the files. Thanks.
Hi Ray I'm wondering if you do any tutoring for people who are about to write the 429a machinist red seal exam?
Is there an email I can reach you at?
