One of the things with this is it doesn't matter if you can use your coms if your ability to communicate sucks. I think this might be better demonstrated running two equally skilled teams on the same map twice taking turns who has no coms. Maybe knife round to determine starting sides for each game
communicating really makes you win games, but not something like this. for example when you queue up in ranked with a team that has a bad aim versus a team with a very good aim, that game is still winnable with good comms and teamplay, doesn't matter if the other team communicates or not, you can win really hard games or at least make it even if you play the game right.

the golds lost because people don't really know how to comm in gold elo, if you were to put diamonds with comms against diamond without comms the diamonds without comms would lose.
The thing is in low elo, we need comms since people tend to play the role outside of need or there is much randomness. But as we go in high elo, people get a sense what things need to be done and what can be done in a particular situation. So, it all ends in a very understandable manner and it just like everyone matches vibes. Even people who say I reached diamond/immortal/ascendant without comms would agree, matches are easier to win in high elo than in low elo without comms. I mean not in literal way, in a comparable manner
im S1 and what i’ve noticed is that if you duo or trio and the other 2-3 have mics and good comms me n my friends im playing w we will pick them up and five stack, it works really well most of the time.
I have been climbing gold and for like 30% of my matches I am the only person speaking the entire game. At the end they sometimes speak and say "thank you for the Comms" or type it in chat. Your win rate will go up if you just call out for others
i actually feel that i deserve to be a higher rank than gold right now, i am bronze 3 and hard stuck due to team8s, i get mvp every round and tea dont communicate at all, and i just get worse teamates skill wise aswell.
I wish I had more teammates with no comms, It has happened like 3 times all times the score was 12- 2 or something like that, but there was also a time where 4 (included me) used no comms, and they kept complaining about comms so it distracted the whole team, and we started to use comms. . . to tell him to calm down or to shut up, they were just a lot of complaints and no actual helpful call outs to begin with just complaining :/, common thing he said is "I need comms!", "where are my comms" most of this was him rushing in first and dieing first
I dunno I don’t really feel like this is that accurate of a test, as having comms isn’t supposed to make you instantly way better and allow you to beat a team of players all higher rank then you, comms are supposed to give you the edge you need to win against another team of similar skill. For example in solo queue a lot of people don’t comm, so if your team is comming it’s likely the other team isn’t , and that can give you an edge. Having gold against diamonds seems like a pretty instant loss without massive handicaps on the diamonds.
I think comms r important low elo. I see my team be very uncoordinated like chickens with their heads cut off. We push? We don't push? We rotate or commit? How do we play this? Especially when we're on a losing spree and we need to do something different instead of repeating the same mistake, I think it's super important. I always comm but dont wanna sound too pushy and my plans aren't always the best, that's why it's so helpful when other ppl pitch in ideas.
a part of getting out of low elo is just having to deal no comms. Even if they're are comms most the time they're not too useful. Normally there is just comms like "OVER THERE" "UP THERE."
There is already a huge difference in low and high elo comms. Low elo comms are mostly calling out where an opponent you just saw is, nothing else. Whereas high elo comms call certain strats and plays to help the team coordinate better.
Dude no hate to egg, but I just laugh so hard when the video goes from his livestream (sounds more chill and normal) Then to his sponsored section where it sounds like a robot trying to read a script.
I think high elo have enough game sense to understand what the most logical thing to do or move but in low elo, it's just small to none so you have to communicate so you won't waste each other's skill (sage walls off skye dog) or ping last location because low elos barely check check mini map/enough game sense to predict where the enemy is.
I think it really depends how often you play with the people. At some point, you don't really need to talk anymore, because you understand your team without.
It doesn't matter if the team doesn't listen to your comms anyway. "I'm walling left lets push right" pushes alone tags 2 120 and dies because the duelist is passive behind a wall 2m away...
i'm ascendant and i mute all chat and VC EVERY single game solo player and i still doing very very well, 157dmg/round 60% wr , 1.11 KDA overall. i think its really" train ur game sense ( when to rotated, when to flank, when to stick/group up, when to push) u need to try this. im sentinel main btw

The difference between this and low elo is even without comms the diamonds will play together, while in silver nobody talks or works together
4:06 bro planning his butterfly knife
im S1 and what i’ve noticed is that if you duo or trio and the other 2-3 have mics and good comms me n my friends im playing w we will pick them up and five stack, it works really well most of the time.
It would have been nice if we could also hear there comms as well so that you could commentate on the quality of their comms too
I have been climbing gold and for like 30% of my matches I am the only person speaking the entire game.
D2 rarely get a 5 man coms but when we do it gets negative when we lose
The first bullet accuracy of the phantom is higher than the vandal
To evaluate the importance of comms in valorant you should make play teams of the same elo, one with comms the other with not.
I would have prefer. Gold with Coms and Gold without coms. That would have shown how much of difference it makes

Ngl that omen must have been having the game of his life because he really didn’t seem like he belonged in gold
I wish I had more teammates with no comms, It has happened like 3 times all times the score was 12- 2 or something like that, but there was also a time where 4 (included me) used no comms, and they kept complaining about comms so it distracted the whole team, and we started to use comms. . . to tell him to calm down or to shut up, they were just a lot of complaints and no actual helpful call outs to begin with just complaining :/, common thing he said is "I need comms!", "where are my comms" most of this was him rushing in first and dieing first
4.07 the skye tryed to plant a knife
What if you did another experiment like this but the diamonds and the ascendants don’t have a map if you can turn it off
Bro this guy talked about nuts the entire video and I got an add with LOTS LOTS of nuts.
4:05 skye was planting her own knife
I dunno I don’t really feel like this is that accurate of a test, as having comms isn’t supposed to make you instantly way better and allow you to beat a team of players all higher rank then you, comms are supposed to give you the edge you need to win against another team of similar skill. For example in solo queue a lot of people don’t comm, so if your team is comming it’s likely the other team isn’t , and that can give you an edge. Having gold against diamonds seems like a pretty instant loss without massive handicaps on the diamonds.
Now Diamonds without Any Sound vs Golds
So happy ur sponsored bro, GET THAT $$$$$$$$!!!!

I wish bronze/silver had Comms 😭😭😭
I try to comm and no one speaks after selection
There is already a huge difference in low and high elo comms. Low elo comms are mostly calling out where an opponent you just saw is, nothing else. Whereas high elo comms call certain strats and plays to help the team coordinate better.
Idea: same rank but all comms from both teams are shared with the other team
Dude no hate to egg, but I just laugh so hard when the video goes from his livestream (sounds more chill and normal)
Then to his sponsored section where it sounds like a robot trying to read a script.
my silver/gold comms are “HES OVER THERE, RIGHT THERE, THERE THERE KILL HIM HE IS THERE” and nobody knows where tf “there” is
Radiants vs Silver/Gold but the Radiants have to mute their audio completely.
Me and the boys on our way to develop telepathy
I think high elo have enough game sense to understand what the most logical thing to do or move but in low elo, it's just small to none so you have to communicate so you won't waste each other's skill (sage walls off skye dog) or ping last location because low elos barely check check mini map/enough game sense to predict where the enemy is.
I think playing with no audio will be quite interesting lmao
comms literally only matter in unfair situations and coordination like 3v5's or things similar to that
Another day another eggwick W
next content diamond elo without crosshair vs bronze with crosshair
I think it really depends how often you play with the people. At some point, you don't really need to talk anymore, because you understand your team without.
It doesn't matter if the team doesn't listen to your comms anyway.
"I'm walling left lets push right"
pushes alone tags 2 120 and dies because the duelist is passive behind a wall 2m away...
Diamonds with no HUD vs golds next pls
VIDEO IDEA:
1 radiant vs 2 iron
Radiant dosent have anything:
no audio
no map
iron has:
audio
map
comms
Mizu can definitely be higher than gold
Next level of egg videos: valorant but no audio (shocking results) (not clickbait) (REAL) (eggs)
i'm ascendant and i mute all chat and VC EVERY single game solo player and i still doing very very well, 157dmg/round 60% wr , 1.11 KDA overall. i think its really" train ur game sense ( when to rotated, when to flank, when to stick/group up, when to push) u need to try this. im sentinel main btw

Minion cult lover lmao
Nah ngl, eggwick got that cracked opera gx, he don't need no comms
gold comms be like: "hey", "bro, how did you lose that, man", "give me skin"
