I just got this bottle a couple a days ago. Its very clean smelling and not very strong, but its still great. It doesnt scream barber shop fragrance, but it has that barber shop fougere vibe . A very well put together fragrance. Its got the citrus with a small spicy kick in the dry down. I layered with parfums de marly Sedley today. It went very well. I blind bought this. This is also my first bottle from this house and look forward to many more! Also it has this thing about it where it starts off great, but no fireworks in the drydown. It just doesn't have any spectacular dry down. This is best in summer, but is an all year type of fragrance. Also good layering fragrance with other barber shop fragrances imo.

This is such a terrific scent. I even got a bottle for myself.

Know I'm 3 wks late, but would you reccomend 1 over the other between colonia, essensa and intensa? I have tried the colonia and really like it. Much difference between the three?
I would say this one is probably my preferred only because I have a bottle of it now. I'm not super familiar with the other 2 even though I've smelled them but its been a while.
Thanks. Like I said, really like the Colonia. May get the Intensa because I tend to like alot of fragrances that you recommend. That may be a bad thing.🙂
Intensa was my signature scent some years back 👌🏼 It’s very versatile, all year, all occasions fragrance. It’s an EDT concentration, though it says cologne. I wish there were an EDP but sadly there’s not.
It’s a 30+ male fragrance.

I used to decant it and add just 1 drop (to 10 millilitres) of white musk. It gave me 2 hours more and boosted the all over experience of the fragrance.

Every time I smell it, it gives me mafia vibes. 😆 And I luv it. Sour citrus-ginger combo with artemesia and myrrh. Really all I get. For those who didn't like the florals in Essenza, this is the one. Probably the best middle management fragrance AdP has. 😂

@@290revolver290 Honestly, I think it's not as citrusy or woody as you might think. If you imagine the aromaticity of fresh ginger as Rush mentioned, it's much closer to that. Spicy, aromatic and on the herbal side. Just like with Essenza, I was originally expecting a citrus bomb but this ain't it. I'd stick with Arancia di Capri and Bergamotto di Calabria if that's the vibe you're after. This one is more classy imo, and the herbal thing could take some getting used to. But I absolutely love it with a white shirt and the blending is fabulous. Not challenging, but not a typical citrus-woody. Hope that helps.

I'd like to get something citrusy and "natural smelling" so at the moment I'm leaning towards Colonia Futura. Have you tried that one by chance? Any recommendations you might have would be appreciated. 😊
