- By the time you hit level 28 you can do some crazy stuff with the Assassin! Some of the skills have quick time effects, which can be turned off. If you guys have any mid level Assassin questions let me know here or on Facebook!

Feels good. Blade and soul has incredible good music I miss in most nowadays games (mmorpgs). That quiet battle with that calm soundtrack. Its like watching a movie
Blade and Soul and Black Desert are what I want in a combat system. No auto-target, auto-attack bullcrap.
Sodisna go dragon nest, best combat out there, though its dungeon based, but it do have the best pvp ive seen.
+Sodisna try out tera while you wait, takes like 2-3 days to get to endgame. another 2-3 weeks to get Content clearing gear maxed out.
+Eisle Kahn tried it, it wasn't my pace.
Sodisna different strokes for different folks I suppose.
+Eisle Kahn Tera is pure shit. Gameforge killed EU and forge a ton of EU players to play NA. Boring as hell quest and PVP aren't that great either. too cartoony for me.
dragon nest has good PVP but its graphics is pure shit. BNS 1 vs 1 Arena is just way more fun and much more balanced

The whole 'No UI' thing has become popular. It's nice that there's no BnS logo overlay when you turn the UI off, like in TERA.

love her humming at the end when she's doin her dance. hope they don't change that voice when they finish the english version.
It's an interesting class. Very stylish both in armor and in fighting styles it seems.
The action combat in BnS is closer to a point and click formula than people think however, it uses a smart targeting system that automatically hits the closet target, similar to what is being seen in Neverwinter, actually no it is the same. And BnS has a option to make the game point and click, just look at Step's review of the game, and question you may have will most likely be answered there.

I love this game. I will wait as long as needed for an NA release while I try and learn other languages to make transitions easier :P I can see the martial arts in this game and the gameplay is amazing. Can't stop geeking out on it

Yeah I can see how playing without a UI takes more skill. Helps to improve you as a player too because you have to know the cooldowns and all that.
it can be both, some of costume can be buy from cash.
But most of costume can get from quests or other missions
the NA Release is early 2014. If that is actually the latest date and it doesn't in fact take that long then we could see it around Christmas

The only thing that keeps me good with this long waiting on the game release is that I'll have enough time to upgrade my PC to enjoy the game at it's MAX :3

Probably, I think whoever pretty much lands the first strike. Will be able to go into there combos first. So im guessing if there is pvp, manuverability and movement telegraphing would be important to know.

Attacks will miss if your out of range, enemy is blocking, ect. At least that's what I noticed while playing that PS as well. It's much more fluid and dynamic than most other games that use point and click. I wouldn't even consider it that type of game tbh. It plays much more like an action combat game, where your quick reactions and timing matters.
looking at all your videos it seems you really like blade and soul. I personally have been waiting for it for 4 years man, eagerly. ive tried it on a private server before and the combat is just the most logical and fluent combat ive ever experienced in a game. but as to a complete game; im wondering what you might think about elder scrolls online? are you planning on doing some of that too? I personally think it will feel more complete. but lacking combat I suppose

i agree.but AoW devs have to teach B&S devs how to make proper animation for wall running.there is no half meter gap from wall in AoW

Well, I don't know about that time, but now lv28 is the moment you unlock the real fullstealth combo xD (well almost all of it, only need the 4 on lv41/42...)

you have till early 2014.if you start saving money from now,no doubt you will be ready for the release.and if you work just for 2-3 months you're done(depends on the job.if you get paid good you can build it in 1 month).if they don't delay the game,you can just skip beta or don't play in max settings till you save money for better pc,and if they delay for 2014 you have at least till end of summer of that year.that's more than 1 year.if you can't save money in that time,you do something wrong

It's awesome, people just say it sucks because of the tutorial and they quit playing right after. The game is huge and amazing, it just has a huge learning curve, think of eve. I run /r/ ageofwushu also :)

I wanted to play this so bad, but I'm started to get older which I won't have time to play.
Age Of Wushu is 50/50. The features and environment are pro, combat takes time to get used to, but is quite meh at first. And the UI needs improvement asap. and VIP offers a huge advantage overtime.
Remarks:
1) Cool graphics - what engine does this run on?
2) cool assassin concept.
3) Her robe is flailing wildly around her for no reason, it should feel heavier.
4) It takes aaaaaages for you to kill stuff. If this is the friggin assassin, I don't wanna know how long would it take if you were, say, a summoner.
Damage needs a buff. :<
Pretty cool other than that, hope it's got endgame content, else there's no reason to play this and not Tera.

mark youknowwho The level he is on doesn't matter at all... what he means most likely is that Steparu is killing just some random targets in the wild and it takes so many hits to kill it. Normally in MMOgames killing any single enemy at *any* lvl should be pretty easy..
BUT ofc if his gear isnt that good OR if the enemy is strong one (somekinda elite or (much) higher lvl) all of those points are invalid. Also it may just be that B&S is trying something different by giving players less enemies / stronger enemies / better rewards.. dunno, its all speculation in my part since I haven't tried the game YET :P
right his character is 28 and I think these mobs are actually 30+ so that might be it. Personally the style of this game is what attracts me over Tera cus Tera has the same combat but is western-imaged. For me, this provides a landscape/world that is unlike mmo's of this gameplay I've seen. Still, it is a eastern game with its pitfalls.

Considering how much you have access to when you start AoW, and the fact that there is simply so much to do. AoW will get a stable playerbase and it will get popular because it is not a bad game. You and the 14 people that liked your comment haven't really experienced the game. The adrenaline of being on the run as a criminal, joining a guild and participating in cargo transports, participating in fair pvp, Spying, Life skills, and my favorite part...being jailed.
Hi Steparu, I wanna ask if those skill close up animations can be disabled cuz they really narrow the view on the field of battle during mass PvP, although in PvE it's a really nice thing to spice up the farm.
I played Age of Wushu too, but is so slow on cambat mode, and the Life game is dedicated to the "CashMan"...
age of wushu got more rushed than the effect of viagra the europe version on the other hand (age of wulin) has yet to have a cbt date becaus they are polishing it
Your original comment didn't seem like much of an opinion, at all, you outright said AoW sucks. For future reference something along the lines of "Age of Wushu isn't my type of game" or even "imo Age of Wushu sucks" even though if you used that second one I would've simply tried to understand why you dislike it. As a F2P MMO, AoW has everything needed for true immersion, which is simply why I like it.
Yea i guess its okay but theres a few missions where you cant solo because bosses 1 shot you yet nobody wants to group up. Another thing is its open world pvp
This game looks hella fun. So this is a MMO right? How different is it to other MMOs? Combat looks so fast and fluid.
Yes this is an MMO. From my understanding, it's catered pretty well for PvP players... the PvE is still there as well. It's pretty tense on grinding since the level cap is 50... you leave the tutorial area (which took me about 15 mins to complete) at level 3, whereas in WoW... you'd probably be level 10+ by then. I should also mention it's a DPS-fest. There is no true tank and there is no dedicated healer class. Still experiencing the game myself. If you have ping issues... it may kill the experience in the combat due to it's fast pacing.
DJAizakku What is the focus of the game? Is it endgame raid/dungeon focused like WoW? Is it open ended with world bosses you can solo for loot like Runescape?

... I've played very briefly before on Atomix, Not long enough to notice..literally like 5mins. So are attacks automatically landed on your opponent? like in the sense that point and click games work where you'll do an attack and it'll hit the person as long as they were in range when the attack was initiated; OR will attacks miss if you move out of range before the hit actually registers?
