Great profile! Thinking about AGOV format, I know you mentioned Diabellstar as an engine, what would your ratios/interactions be? Do you go Diabellstar or Horus? I've also seen Cartesia being added in... so versatile!
I’m definitely leaning more towards playing diabellestar, but I also really want to try out the Horus stuff at one point, since the engine has a lot of potential. As far as the ratios go for the diabellestar engine, I’d probably go with 3 diabellestar the dark witch and 1 sinful spoils snake eye. Definitely want to max out on diabellestar since it helps trigger pretty much every effect whether it’s the ishizus, sulliek, Trivikarma, etc. not to mention it being level 7 means you have even more synergy with Revolution synchron. I’m on the fence about playing more than one snake eye, but it does help you get cards into the grave in addition to giving you easy access to jet synchron and level 8 synchros.
@@victorsadventures- Now the rarities are out, I doubt I can afford to pre-order either engine!! And that's without S:P Little Knight!
Honestly, I’ve been testing both engines more frequently and I’ve got to say, I’m really not too impressed by either. In practice, the Horus engine just seems like it doesn’t have enough synergy to merit running it with tearlament, since it’s basically just being used to discard stuff, but there’s already a ton of ways to do that that work way better with the tearlament deck. As for diabellestar, I’ve definitely enjoyed that engine a lot more, since it actually compliments what the deck is trying to do by providing level 7s, floating into combo pieces, being dark for Mudragon, etc , but I don’t know if it’s worth playing over fenrir who can for sure guarantee you’ll be able to make some plays.
@@victorsadventures- I agree with your points! Having access to Zombie Vampire is nice. I've been testing a combination of Horus (2x Imsety + 1 each of the other names + 3 Sarc) with 2x Diabellstar, 2x Hunter Fiend + Original Sinful Spoils and you do get bodies on the board for some Rank 8 XYZs. Throwing in a Visas can easily get you Vicious Astraloud along the way as well, but I don't have that much experience to know many decent Synchros/XYZs to best balance anything! 😅 But like you say, not sure if the packages are more consistent than what's already available... I'm sure someone like yourself can make it work far better than me!!
Interesting list, what do u think about the consistency? Does it brick often? Is it stronger or evenly matched with other tear decks rn?
Also I would love to see the side deck since that’s the point where I struggle the most caz I don’t know what I can cut and can’t
The list definitely bricks a bit more, since it trades consistency in order to take advantage of more potentially explosive plays. The end boards for this version are definitely way more oppressive than the standard fusion build that is going around though. As for the side, I haven’t figured out what I want to try yet, since I’m basically waiting for YCS Indy in order to get a better idea of how the format shaping up.
