  • This is the 32nd tour of our series, THE REAL TOURS, in which we provide an in the moment glimpse into a place with off-the-cuff commentary completely intact! No research, no script, just RRR letting you in on their insights and observations walking the malls.
The White Marsh mall in White Marsh, MD is a very cozy mall developed by The Rouse Company in 1981. Plenty of good design choices in this mall, including what once were cool fountains, palm trees, cool skylights and ceiling trusses, the iconic Rouse Company clock tower in center court, it's a real treat to walk around this mall.
This tour was recorded on April 25, 2023 at around 4pm.

A pleasant enough mall to look at.
I remember a time when that Sears was still open

Pretty sure the day we met was in front of that Sears :)

I like this mall. I just wish it was less grey/blue and there was more vivid colours. I would love to see the fountain working. That clock is also beautiful. I also absolutely love those palm trees. It gives the mall a decorative touch. I would shop here for some of the stores.

The Marsh Mall, nice. The metal birds including that crane/stork/heron and the Palm Trees add a nice style to the mall. They have a good variety of types of stores beyond clothing, so hopefully they do well on the weekends to stay in business. Sears provided tools, but that's gone now, online only I think as of 2023. Thanks RRR.

They should put the Sears sign up for auction.

Used to live in the area and worked at Sears there in the mid 90's... wow, that mall is circling the drain and I can't say that I feel bad about it.

Thanks for the directory opener, it's always nice being able to get a feel for what dead malls were like and what livelier ones like these will be.

The way this mall looks now this isn't the way it originally looked right or is it because they still have that step down fountain in front of Macy's?

Nice Mall , however the gray and blue paint is a downer.
    Could use some sharper colors.
    Thanks for the awesome video!!

How bout Berkshire mall in PA that's the way it originally looked only without that big center court fountain since it still has the old design right?
