Lucky that you had your book and you wired it the way you did … because 99% of all wiring the trailer the yellow is the Driver side left-hand turn signal.
Hi, I am sorry it wasn't more helpful. We tried to be as clear as possible but it may have gotten lost while also trying to fix it quickly yo get on the road. Do you have your manual? At around the :56 second mark you can see ours with instructions for how to reattach, but you are basically matching color to color then just recapping.

First step. That romex box goes into the ditch. Get a sealed ring terminal junction box.
