- Adding a YOSHINO CHERRY TREE 🌳 in the Sow Good Garden/Orchard for pollination, beauty, and natural shade. I purchased it from Tractor Supply for $39.99 and I couldn’t be more pleased.

It’s a good idea to check for circling roots on such a pot bound tree. There will likely be some that needs attention. Try to plant it at root flare level. Keep the mulch away from the trunk.

That’s going to be quite the spectacular tree when it is full size. They must have been fertilizing the heck outta that tree in that tiny pot to have it grow that tall.

I know right 😂. Those roots were CRAZY in that pot! This clay soil is a mess so I started using the compost and mulch on top like nature does and it’s worked wonders for my trees over the years. My wife is tripping talking about free labor 😂🤣😂 PLEASE 😆! Stay blessed Annette and thanks as always for your support!

I’m interested to see as well to be honest. I’ll have to keep it pruned in the right directions for it to work but I think it will work out well.

That's a DEAL Calvin. Here that would be about $250.00. That's a great idea to amend the the hole. And your right you dig into clay soil you make a clay pot. Both of you Crack me up. But what I do hear from you Calvin, I think there will bee a hive hanging on on that fence in the near future

What I have done this place in a bucket of water because its easy to remove some soil from bottom and loosen up the roots.

I had it looked at years back whenever we had the house built and we’re good 👍🏾. The only thing that I have to worry about is hitting my sprinkler lines whenever I dig. I know where they are too so I’m good. That’s that old school rap fam 😂.

I know right!!! I’ve NEVER seen a tree that root bound before BUT, it’s already taking off and flowering for us. I’ll have to do an update whenever I do a full orchard tour for the Spring.

It’s definitely 👍🏾 worth buying at a discount if possible. It’ll send side shoots up from below the break as long as there’s nodes on it. It’ll also make a new central leader so it’s worth it in my opinion.
