The British were way overshooting near the end. I understand that the Germans had excellent fire control, but the British were no slouches, either. It would be nice to have something larger than the ship's ensign to tell which side was being displayed. Viewing on a phone, it's hard to tell.
I love doing what-if scenarios. Had Bismarck, with both Scharnhorst, Gneisenau with Prinz Eugen... POW, HOOD... Norfolk, Suffolk. Good battles, just wish they updated this game and added Italians, French and Russian ships.
@Martin M - worth looking at some Drachnifel's videos - German accuracy was good... but potentially more based on crew training, than any inherent advantage in the kit. Their gun detectors required almost perfect eyesight; their own gunnery disrupted their radars; and the British 15" Mk42 was one of the most accurate naval guns in history. Not a pissy comment, I just wonder if German superiority has become a bit of a myth - in a long battle, if the above were true, accuracy and ROF would wane with tired crews; and give some more balance to the scenario.
@Martin M I'm not sure you understood my comment - I've not claimed any inaccuracy on the German part. But I am saying that I think there is a temptation to alot some inherent accuracy to their equipment, when I think the proper explanation is their exceptional crews and training. Bismarck's own fire disabled her forward radar, defaulting her to visual spotting and the skills of her directors and gunners. Go look up Drach's channel, he has some interesting discussion on this, which it sounds like you'd be interested in.
I like to watch it every day but Do you know that you can repair ship damage by clicking on wrench icon on the botton left of your screen it can be fixed by couple of turns
It seems to me he has the Germans winning about 9 times out of 10. The Kreigsmarine surface fleet wasn't nearly as good as he portrays them here. The Bismarck and Tirpitz were not significantly better than the battleships launched roughly the same time they were constructed. They could outrun the Massachusetts class but they couldn't fight them. The Washington wasn't armored well so aid favor the Germans over the Mass and the North Carolina.

Wow the HMS Renown lasted a whole six minutes or three salvo hits before sinking. Great video.

9:20-WTF! ...I imagine what follows is not pleasant for the guys that just bloodied Bismarck's nose...back to the battle...
What did ya use to record this. Btw, pairing a newer Nelson and a Renoun would've made for a better fight.
A man never tells his secrets so that's classified intel
Scharnhorst vs. Renown?
Oy. Not an even fight. 😳
Your vids are amazing😆
Would you put old WW1 R class up against the more modern ships?
Bruh ships on this battle is in ww2 not ww1
@@cjlamo7450 HMS Renown was the lead ship of her class of battlecruisers of the Royal Navy built during the First World War. 1916
You're controlling both sides but not even trying with the Revenge at the end.
